Review:At A Glance Review: I LOVED IT. Morgan Matson just keeps solidifying herself as one of my favorite authors. My heart wants to seize up with happiness over Since You’ve Been Gone. It was a most anticipated book for 2014 and it did NOT disappoint. If you love contemporary YA, read it and then go read her other books if you haven’t! Made my heart melt like ice cream on a hot day. Great book about friendship and finding out who YOU are at the core.

Review:Tries to engage with real issues, but stops short of actually making a statement. Suitable for teenagers who will enjoy the pretty pictures, not recommended for adults who want to read it to learn something. Read more
Review:I am a fan of the artist and the webcomic. So when this set of comics came to print, I instantly bought it to read to my daughter. The print version (the book) is very hard to read. Many of the comic panels have been shrunk down considerably and both myself, and my daughter have a very difficult time reading the words. The pictures are also graphically shrunk down and shoved into the pages. Read more
Review:I've been waiting for this book for a long time. Let me tell you, it was worth the wait. The reason for this is because the characters in the book have the ability to control color when they... Read more
Review:This series is fantastic! After I read the first one I was hooked, and had to drop everything else I was reading to finish the series. The premise is enticing and the imagination of the author is boundless. I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys sci-fi/fantasy and a captivating, fun, thought-provoking read. Read more

Review:I came into this book with great expectations and Code Name Verity met many of them. Unfortunately, It didn't change my life like my friends said it would.
I felt like the biggest moment in the whole book was rushed and I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop. It seemed to me that there was a greater description of several minor characters' adventures - Beryl, Dympna, Paul - than there was of the climax. This was disappointing for me.
As well, I felt that there were several holes... Read more
