I (Forgotten Realms - Night of the Hunter - Companions Codex
I (Forgotten Realms - Night of the Hunter - Companions Codex

Review:R.A. Salvatore weaves a fantastic , exciting adventure as he continues the tale of Drizzt Do'Urdon and the companions. Drizzt is a such great literary character who ranks up there with Feist's Pug, Jordan's Rand and Tolkien's Aragorn. This is a story of second chances, redemption and acceptance. Drizzt's thoughts on the nature of good and evil give the book some weight and ask the reader to make their own judgement. As someone that has read all the Drizzt books, I especially enjoyed the interes... Read more

The Two Swords (The Hunter's Blades Trilogy - Book 3)
The Two Swords (The Hunter's Blades Trilogy - Book 3)

Review:Although the Companions are separated from one another again in the story, it allows us to meet and fall in love with some new characters that add a different dynamic to the story, and keep our favorite heroes feeling new and fresh again. Salvatore just keeps getting better and better as this seemingly never ending tale of the Companions of the Hall continues! Read more

Starless Night: The Legend of Drizzt, Book VIII
Starless Night: The Legend of Drizzt, Book VIII

Review:The box containing the four novels came ripped at the top left-side. Appears as if someone tried to open the open-ended case to place the novels inside. Nice job, I say. And a nice job of the person who packaged this item, considering anyone had to notice the ripped box. Read more

Book IV (Forgotten Realms - The Last Threshold - Neverwinter Saga

Review:If you loved all his other Drizzt books, you'll love this one! I think Salvatore is one of the best fantasy authors alive. And Drizzt is one of the best characters I've ever read about. You can't help but fall in love with him and his principles and integrity. I can't put these books down! I've read all of his Drizzt books except for "The Companions". Read more

Legend of Drizzt, Book VII (The Legend of Drizzt)
Legend of Drizzt, Book VII (The Legend of Drizzt)

Review:Drizzt Do'Urden has finally found a home. Together the companions rescued Regis from the clutches of a vengeful pasha. Drizzt battled his enemy Artemis Entreri into a retreat. Afterwards the led a dwarvish army against Bruenor's ancient realm of Mithril Hall and took it again for the king. Now Bruenor sits on his throne and the biggest concern that the companions have is the wedding of Catti-Brie and Wulfgar. Things are not as peaceful as they seem. Unbeknownst to the companions an old enemy lur... Read more

The Orc King: Transitions, Book I
The Orc King: Transitions, Book I

Review:For those who are familiar with Drizzt and company, this book doesn't disappoint. There are major changes to the characters, and even the world, but the descriptive action sequences we've come to expect are there in abundance. A must read for fans of the Forgotten Realms. Read more

The Lone Drow (The Hunter's Blades Trilogy - Book 2)
The Lone Drow (The Hunter's Blades Trilogy - Book 2)

Review:So, continuing from The Thousand Orcs, Drizzt thinks his friends are dead and is behind enemy lines. Ostensibly, this book is about a lone "drow" so therefore, Drizzt is the main character. This isn't actually the case and the setup is totally misleading. Drizzt is in this book for a blink of an eye, and instead the majority of this book is instead about a bunch of dwarves with goofy names fighting generic battles with generic orc enemies. Yes, that's right. A book called "the lone drow" barely ... Read more

The Merciless
The Merciless

Review:Merciless is a hard book to review.
I Really liked some aspects of it, but there are others that I just didn’t care for.

First I want to say I was initially drawn in by the looks of the book. I mean this is a hot pink hardcover and it is absolutely stunning. I love that there is no dust jacket and that it has this awesome canvas feel. The only thing that really gets me is the actual cover. I don’t like that there is a pentagram/or pentacle (whichever you want to call it) on the cover.... Read more
