New Testament
Review:The author weaves a story around the friends of Jesus so that you remember who they are and what Jesus did for them and how they continued with their life in a positive way. The stories can be found in the Bible. Following Jesus isn't always easy in our complicated life but I found this book to be comforting and understanding of Jesus' ways and miracles. I know He is there for me. Read more
Review:This book is based on the family members closest to Jesus. It is a story of how they may have felt or emotions that may have been going through. Some of it is an elaboration and the author does explain this, but as Christian writer the author stays as Biblically accurate as possible.

Review:Our small group had many good discussions as we worked to apply the exercises each week. Nothing too ground breaking or mystical, just solid practices like creating margin, slowing down, practicing solitude, and surfacing false narratives about who God is. Read more
Review:This book was recommended as a look into the ancient life of the early Christians. It was a ridiculous farce of 'letters' written between men that would never have happened. The letters were very short and superficial whereas any effort to communicate in writing in ancient times would have been worthy of the effort to deliver the letter, not trivia bouncing back and forth.
