Review:For those of you questioning how realistic this book is: I'm going to make my husband read it so he will understand what I lived through when I was an au pair in another country decades ago. Same stuff. The mother of the family I lived with spent exactly ten minutes a day with her four year old. When the children were sick at night they came to me, even when I was new to them. They'd learned long ago not to bother to go to their parents. The previous child's nurse had been fired because the youn... Read more
Review:After being deeply drawn into the story of Chris McCandless in the book "Into the Wild", this book helped me understand why he might have wanted to escape his family. While there is much about Chris in this book, there is perhaps a little too much about the author. It broke my heart for Chris after reading "Into the Wild". He loved life and certainly did not go in to the wilderness expecting to die. It is sad for a family to be so dysfunctional as to cause such an extreme estrangement. Havi... Read more
Review:i am impressed with the level of detail Professor Omarosa included in this book. I can ramble on about how proud she has made me, a fellow Howardite. She took Trump to task on everything that is true to the communities and has the receipts to prove it. She is a modern day Biblical Esther and was serving her people (black, poor, and her fellow Americans) while in the White House. Omarosa thank you for everything. You are an inspiration. I wish you nothing but continued success. If you are consid... Read more
Review:Had hoped for the insight promised. Initially over-researched, too many details about Trump's father times, etc. About halfway through, the book changes, becomes repetitive and shallow -- like it was opportunistically rushed to print before it was ready. Nothing about Trump's relationships with his siblings or children and touches on, barely, protectively, his relationships with his wives. All in all, a Part 1 of a magazine article stretched too long and with too little substance. Poor effort ul... Read more
Review:For seekers and believers alike, this memoir stands as an authentic and moving account of one man's path to faith as well as an investigation into what formed the author into the person he is now. Klavan beautifully draws the reader through an internal and personal search for truth and ultimately to God in Christ. Along the way he deconstructs the barriers to faith so present in the postmodern world, and he does so with the focus and clean prose Klavan's fans have come to expect. Read more
Review:For the reader seeking a more personal and human perspective of the role played by these three historic figures, Jordan's new book delivers a spell binding story. Their ambitions, emotions, fears, doubts and personal and profession loyalties are presented in a very readable and balanced account of this exceptional partnership that won the war in North Africa and Western Europe. The book's approach should particularly appeal to readers new to the history and details of World War II. Jordan pre... Read more

Review:This was a good book. I had read "Autobiography of a Yogi" which style was very humble and forthright. I did not get the same from this book because I thought the author was just slightly arrogant about his knowledge and status. Left me wondering if he was "true". However, I am a little like "doubting Thomas". Read more
Review:His traumatic experiences for his personal misadventures and still going straight with his Presidential responsibilities , you really fall in love with Clinton the Great President. Even the Republicans speak very high of his ability to steer the country in the most appropriate manner both in terms of his plans for bringing back prosperity and accumulating unprecedented cash reserves for the subsequent leaderships to squander.
