Review:Scott Hahn has it all over other Catholic authors. I love his works.
Why?
He's brilliant, learned and respected PhD - and most of all a former Evangelical.
Not just a former Protestant - but an arm-waving "Praise Jesus" Evangelical.
And like all Evangelicals, only knowing our Blessed Mother as a figure to be taken out of a box marked "Creche Scene" during the Advent season.
Scott Hahn introduces our Blessed Mother in a clear, beautifully -written and easy-read style.

Review:How often we worry about making ourselves all that God would have us to be. Truth is, If God doesn't make us holy, we can't get there from here. A.W. Tozer is one of the greats and It is my belief that we should spend more time in the older books, many of the newer ones are nowhere near as challenging. This is not a feel good book, it is a get better read. Read more
Review:Billy Graham is a very strong man of God. However sometimes his writings are heard to follow. They may even at times appear dry. However He is doctrinally sound. I believe his books are meant to be studied along with the Bible. Read more
Review:I enjoy learning more about the Holy Spirit. We often neglect the third member of the Trinity, but this book gave me more insight into the works of the Holy Spirit, as well as His importance in our walk of faith. Read more
Review:For anyone who wants more of God, to understand Him better. We are a spirit, dwelling in a temporary body. This book really solidified the purposes, definitions, and signs of the gifts and operations of the Holy Spirit. It was just what I was looking for. Read more

Review:This book does what any book examining Scripture should do - it takes Scripture, whether it be a difficult or simple passage, and then simply explains it for all to understand. Furthermore, it provides the correct context for the Passion (I recommend Matthew Mark, Luke, and John for further information!) and Christ's purpose.
Those who have negatively reviewed this book because it purports "dogma" obviously do not have a problem with "dogma" but with the Word of God, for every chapter Piper ... Read more
Review:I have enjoyed reading this book to the fullest extent. I find St. Theresa of Avila to be wise, witty and inquisitive amongst other things. As a believer who is not associated with any denomenation, more specifically, the Catholic Church, it was really chance that allowed me to stumble across this fantastic work. I would suggest this read for anyone pondering the state of their soul in relation to the possibility of heaven and how one should live in between. For more biographical information... Read more
Review:I had to read certain passages slowly and more than once as some of the prose was unfamiliar to me and the writer C.S.Lewis is such a master with language but I really enjoyed this learning experience.I intend to read this 90 page book again. Read more
Review:Too often people who have faith are viewed as nieve or guilty of superficial reasoning and thinking. This cannot be said of Dinesh D'Souza in the book "What's so Great About Christianity." The author responds to widely accepted critiques of Christianity with extensive knowledge and exceptional insights. This is one of the best apologetic books I've read Read more
