Christian Living
Review:This is a very well written and documented account of spiritual growth and development through adolescent to elder years. The book is one for careful reading and reflection. Readers of HOLY LONGING will be delighted with Rolheiser's follow up account of further spiritual progress for serious Christians Read more
Review:Great book. The church has very few preachers who preach the blood of Christ anymore. That is why I read this book. I needed to be reminded about the power of the blood of Jesus. This book accomplished that! This book has great stories about the generals of God that knew the power of the blood of Jesus; John Lake, Oral Reberts, Smith Wigglesworth, Katherine Kuhlman and many others. I have given this book away to another Christian friend. Read more

Review:Jim Wallis is himself a powerful force for change, not just because he talks the talk so well, but because he has put himself and his family out there. He has lived a life of love and compassion, living and working and listening and talking with the poor and the marginalized. He understands what he writes about because he's lived it. Read more
Review:Before I even read the first chapter of Asheritah Ciuciu's book Full, I knew it was written for me. She talks in the Preface about her daughter's first birthday party. Review:Wonderful book that relates so much to my struggle with healthy living. Lisa's honesty and personal stories add so much to the challenge, yet victory I too have experienced. Weight loss and fitness improvement for sure, but a closer relationship with God is the satisfaction I've obtained. A great book to go through with a friend or group. Truly inspiring. Read more
Review:Accidental Pharisees, will challenge you and in places have you shaking your head at the "unintended results" of the way we portray the Christian life. It is honest, straightforward and true to scripture. If you read it like you are looking in a mirror it is also very convicting. Read more
Review:This book came to me in excellent condition--as promised. I enjoy reading Father Tim's favorite quotes. The book also includes blank pages in back for me to add more quotes of my own that I find. Thanks, Vendor, for your fine service! Read more
Review:Inspiring book. A bit repetitious. Although typical for a self help book. Driving the point across. If you pray for help everyday like most people you already have some trust in the Lord. Joyce helps you understand how and why trust works. Amazing how she hits on the question we all have about trust. Read more
Review:I just finished this book and it is wonderfully compelling. It is classic Miller. The author wanders all over the place spinning humor and digressions into a coherent story of how he got to a place where life is fulfilling. This is a road map to life that is not liquored up with distractions, amusements, and wishful thinking. Miller explains how post-post modern people can find meaning without sentimentality, and how the difficulty of the journey makes the results sweeter. Read more
