Review:Excellent book would have loved to have seen more pictures. Now I know and understand why Maurice was not performing, when I saw them in concert. I love Philip...the whole Earth, Wind Fire Band!!!!!!!! Read more
Review:Loved his stories, but his writing style was awful. Surprised the publisher released this as is and didn't suggest a ghostwriter. His stories are so amazing....but they way he tells them was so juvenile. Read more
Review:Anyone looking for an explicit how-to-dress-well for our moment in history will be disappointed. The Lost Art of Dress is more of a cultural history -- that said, though, it contains fascinating history and an explanation of applying the principles of art to fashion. Review:Action Bronson delivers with a book that's part recipies and part food culture, all through his eyes. It's brilliant to look at food the way Action does, from a perspective of natural curiosity, experience and respect. Review:Great story! Unusual twist on the typical time travel novella. I liked it very much, my only critique, the author seemed to be in a hurry to finish it; he could've easily put another 100 pages fleshing out relationships and additional details of the events, which would have been even more enjoyable. Review:The pictures were absolutely beautiful! The book included a PDF with a sampling of the butterflies. I really enjoyed the variety and delicacy of the butterflies and foliage. This would be a great purchase in print format. I received the kindle version free for review. Read more
Review:Contains all of the lyrics. The annotations are brief and the style of organization is not a narrative one per se, although it is arranged in chronological order of when they were performed. There are over 500 pages but it's not a "read". Robert Hunter shines through nicely throughout as a writer and person, and of course some Jerry quotes are there and these both help to warm the book. I just thought that the annotations would be a lot more interesting with quotes from people who knew or played... Read more
Review:Great, insightful book. Some of it is common sense, while other parts are eye-opening realities that as the author, Mr. Simmons states - are politically incorrect, but nevertheless the way business works sometimes. I highly recommend any aspiring entrepreneur to read this book. Read more
Review:I just purchased these Dover COloring Books for my mother and she loves them. The detail is out of this world and the variety of colors you can use are only limited by your inagination. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Read more
Read more
