Great story! Unusual twist on the typical time travel novella. I liked it very much, my only critique, the author seemed to be in a hurry to finish it; he could've easily put another 100 pages fleshing out relationships and additional details of the events, which would have been even more enjoyable.

To travel through history repairing the past was a good start but this book failed on many levels . Character development was week, More and more the main character in the books I read is a former Navy Seal. I am glad they are finding work, but it is getting tiring.
The course corrections of history seemed too much to accept.

A great premise, especially for fans of time travel. The writing was extremely simplistic and the characters rather dull and flat. I endured the book and skimmed to the end in the hope that it would improve, but was just disappointed.

I enjoy reading time travel novels but, I was disappointed that it didn't end with the book and is to be continued in a sequel. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone that is a time travel lover.

The premise for the story is unique. Time travel to real life individuals is fascinating. This is quite fun to read. As soon as I finished Book I, I immediately bought Books II and III. Although I am a fast reader, I plan on taking my time to read all 12 books just so I can absorb all the history involved. Thank you Mr. McAuley!

An engaging period piece of a time travel book. The club idea gives a nice framework for the time travel adventure and the Lincoln at Gettysburg part was very well done. The story is a bit thin, but pleasant and has enough twists to make it interesting. Looking forward to other installments of the series.
