Review:Gave this book to my mother as a Hanukkah present. She was hysterical and showed it to all her friends. Not only is this book funny for any avid 50 Shades reader, but the recipes are scrumptious. My dad even ended up cooking with it! Makes for interesting conversation. Read more
Review:Okay...like others have said The Life Changing Magic of Not Giving a F*ck is NOT for everyone...but it is for many (don't be afraid to admit it) or give a f*ck what others think about YOU deciding it's time to STOP giving so many f*cks.Too many "f" words...well not sorry. My sons knew how excited I was for this book to come out and asked me, "Mom, how many times does Sarah use the "f" word in the book?" Well I found out and it's 731! In my opinion this is book is genius and so is the author. I'm... Read more

Review:This book is absolutely amazing. It is unlike anything I have very read before in the best way possible. It lures you in with a slow start. The format takes a bit to get used to, but by the end of the book The Familiar has grabbed you and it won't let go. Read more

Review:This is simply an astonishing piece of literature. It follows the everyday lives of a seventeen-year-old boy, called Clay, and his many acquaintances. Written from Clay's perspective, the novel is set in L.A. over the Christmas period, yet there is little celebration within the book. The novel contains many very powerful insights of the lives of older teenagers with too much money and too much time.
Behind the glitz and glamour of Hollywood producers and film stars lies a world of alcohol... Read more
Review:Listen, you aren't here because you stumbled on to a drag queen's book by the grace of Tati. You are here because 1) you think Willam owes you money or 2) you know what to expect. Prepare to read the book front to back, then top to bottom, and better yourself. To suck less. No false advertising here. You might even find aspects of your life where you didn't even know you sucked. So put your pants on, or take them off, and pay the "woman" for her services. Leave it on your coffee table, or just t... Read more

Review:I have been a fan of The Far Side from the very beginning, and I was glad to find a complete collection of these gems. However, I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because:
1. The books (two volumes) are hardbound, heavy, and not easy to carry around or even to put on a bookshelf because of their size.
2. Many of the cartoons are printed in color. I'm sure some people like that, but I feel that the cartoons always looked better in plain old black-and-white.
Finally, but not direc... Read more
