The Black Stallion
The Black Stallion

Review:MY all time favorite as a kid's book! Read it in about 4th grade, got hooked on all of Farley's books and this was by far my favorite.

I had to buy each book with my own allowance money, which might tell you how much I loved them! Read more

The Good Dinosaur (Read-Along Storybook and CD)
The Good Dinosaur (Read-Along Storybook and CD)

Review:This is a great story - my son loved the movie and we got him this book for one of his Christmas gifts and he couldn't care less about anything else but this book. He asks me all the time to turn on the CD as he sits there and listens while turning the page. Great illustrations and audio. Read more

And Other Nonsense for Mischievous Kids and Immature Grown-Ups
And Other Nonsense for Mischievous Kids and Immature Grown-Ups

Review:This has the funniest poems, incredibly charming, very clever. Our test reader is nine, and this is definitely a new favorite. Will be fun to read a!one, or with a group. If gets a place on the favorites shelf. While it is hard to pick, two winners are the lazy alphabet one, and the island where everyone is named Toby. Read more

The Rithmatist
The Rithmatist

Review:Brandon Sanderson never ceases to amaze me with his hypotheses of possibilities as to what is acceptable as a basis for "magic or mysterious happenings" with The Rithmatist he has come up with a whole new concept of enemies and ways to defeat them.
Well Done Brandon. Read more

Ivy & Bean's Secret Treasure Box (Books 1-3)
Ivy & Bean's Secret Treasure Box (Books 1-3)

Review:It states that these books are for five and up what five year do you know can read a chapter book on their own. I do like the books to read to her but I was looking for something to get her started with reading. Read more

Pippi Longstocking
Pippi Longstocking

Review:This book is a larger format - 8 inches by 10, that is fun to read out loud to your kids. The illustrations are colorful and unusual, and many are made out of bits of fabric. They look touchable. The text is fun, too - so many pages have text printed in unusual configurations... coming out of a watering can, for example.

This book is a hoot. Share it with your family. Read more

Madeline
Madeline

Review:My six-year-old granddaughter loves this book. The only complaint is that the illness and hospital visit were frightening to her, but she enjoys hearing it over and over after the first shock. This is her third book in the series, and Madeline's antics are favorites for her. Read more

To All the Boys I've Loved Before
To All the Boys I've Loved Before

Review:I received this book yesterday, so I have not had time to start reading it. But I have heard wonderful things about this book. The package came very quickly which was great because I go on vacation soon and wanted this book, especially in paperback. I can not wait to start reading this book along with my others books for my summer reading list. Read more

Scythe (Arc of a Scythe)
Scythe (Arc of a Scythe)

Review:Scythe is my first Neal Shusterman book AND one of the best books I’ve read this year. Society lives in a utopia. We’ve defeated death, poverty, hunger, you name it. Do people turn to a Star Trek-type society and explore space and do good things? Nope, they “turn the corner” when they get tired of looking old, having surgery to bring them back to a younger face and body. They stop doing, stop trying to achieve; it’s a stagnant society that doesn’t die. That’s where the Scythes come in.

Alligators all around / Chicken Soup With Rice / One was Johnny / Pierre

Review:These are absolutely adorable, but completely over priced. They are tiny which would be great for small children, but they cost so much I dont want to let my toddler play with them! It's it totally up to you if you want to spend the money. The stories are amazing and they look great! Read more
