Review:I kind of enjoyed reading this book but it gets so silly and over the top by the middle half of the book. Like another reviewer said it feels like the last half of the book is written by a different person. Anyway, if you liked the Forrest in the movie a lot you might not enjoy the book. In the book Forrest is a bit of a pervert. He's also a very large man in the book. Also the line from the movie, "Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get." is not in the book... Read more
Review:This book is just fabulous. An easy, breezy, can't put it down, fun to read, heart stopping, life or death, happy and sad, drama filled ride. LOVED it. I just thoroughly enjoyed Matt's writing style. Can't imagine how awesome his bedside manner might be. Hope he writes more very soon! Read more
Review:This book was an awesome journey. It made me think and it made me laugh. Reading this book was like hearing me and my friends talk when we're around each other. It flowed. There was never a point where I wanted to stop reading. Luvvie's side-eye is refreshing and necessary. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who needs to think and laugh at the same time. Well done. Read more
Review:Hat Trick was the perfect second chance-ish romance. From the previous books, Gwen was t my favorite person but I’ve grown to adore her. Marshall is absolutely her perfect match. Everything about this book from the romance to the humor was amazing. Read more

Review:Tempt Me with Forever is possibly my favorite of all of Maria’s books. I’ve loved them all but this one had me cracking up at 1 am cause I couldn’t put it down. Therefore, it’s got to be my favorite! I absolutely love Gage and Lizzie’s story. Lizzie’s so good for Gage. They both had a rough start at life but Lizzie shows Gage how to live and be truly happy again. I was given an ARC of this book and voluntarily chose to leave an honest review. Read more
Review:I bought this book after seeing Jenny on Oprah. I have always liked Jenny's humor and this book won't let you down. She is very honest in the trials and tribulations she's had in her life and how she's worked her way through some very akward situations. I did laugh out loud at a few parts and finished the book in two days. Jenny has always been open about her life and this book goes back and tells about her growing up as well. If you are looking for a serious, in depth look at it, this isn't... Read more
Review:Read other reviews for plot and character analysis.
I'm new to DFW, I'll admit. But I've extensively read up on the author and am familiar with his reputation as toeing the line between literary genius and madman. So, as I have with all fiction, I felt the compulsion to read his works chronologically so as to pick up on any subtle nuances in later works, and picked up a copy of The Broom. This rule has its pros and cons. Obviously, if The Broom left me confused and angry, it could dissuad... Read more
Review:Good writer, but the setting never came to life and the characters were not sufficiently involving. I kept waiting for the various story lines to converge and when they did at the end it was anticlimactic. Read more
Review:I highly recommend this novel to anyone who loves the rich novels of the 19th century. This book modernizes the delivery system of the 19th century novel and creates a world that beckons you in. You find yourself questioning one set reality, and are forced to consider intrinsic ratification. Wow, I loved it! Read more
