Spell or High Water (Magic 2.0)
Spell or High Water (Magic 2.0)

Review:When I finished reading "Off To Be The Wizard", it really left me hoping there would be another book. However, unlike the first book, "Spell or High Water" literally builds a 'shell' plot, then stuffs it as full as it can get with irrefutable logic, quotes and vague reference to one Indiana Jones movie, early Trek, Star Wars IV, psychological evaluations, time travel permutations within permutations, all being overlaid with a sort of World of Warcraft-D&D-world religion-y humanitarianly orga... A LitRPG Saga (Chaos Seeds) (Volume 2) - The Land
A LitRPG Saga (Chaos Seeds) (Volume 2) - The Land

Review:Excellent writing skill +100. I thought the story lacked depth in first installment, but it has developed and I can't wait to start the third. Richter and his companions can indeed be human and suffer wounds. It is no longer a stage show, but is now a very fine read. Read more

The Cat Who Ate Danish Modern
The Cat Who Ate Danish Modern

Review:I really enjoyed reading an early "The Cat Who..." book. I have been a fan of Lillian Jackson Braun for a long time, but have not read many of the early books. This one gives you the background on how Yum Yum joined the family. I look forward to reading other early books. Read more

Die Humorous Mystery Book 2) - The Hunger Pains (An Eat
Die Humorous Mystery Book 2) - The Hunger Pains (An Eat

Review:Wasnt as good and captivating as the first one, but it wasnt bad eather. I guess im dissapointed that there wasnt much about what actually includes to her job description. When her talent is to taste poisons from foods and drinks i expected there to be something about it or to help her to figure out something throught that or anything to do with poisons. Not even a test to see if she was on top of her game still. Read more

Taken (Deception Book 1)
Taken (Deception Book 1)

Review:This book never drags. It kept my full attention from beginning to end!
I don't recommend many books to my reader friends but this one I will!
It has a lot of action and suspense with just the right amount of romance.
I'm looking forward to reading more of Barbara Freethy's books. Read more

Forging Hephaestus (Villains' Code Book 1)
Forging Hephaestus (Villains' Code Book 1)

Review:Thought it would connect to Super Powereds and Corpies, which were books I really enjoyed. I'm glad it didn't. Although it's weird how hard it is to become a hero in the other series and this one it takes a week to debut. Can't wait for book two and hurry up with the next super powereds Drew, I know these books are a couple thousand pages each, but hurry up. All you need to do is write a few hundred pages a day. the Vampire Accountant Book 4) - The Fangs of Freelance (Fred
the Vampire Accountant Book 4) - The Fangs of Freelance (Fred

Review:Having now devoured the fourth book in the series I’m almost surprised that I’m saddened and anxious for the next to come out.

I normally don’t give a hoot about the entire vampire genre. Overused, tired and cliche-ridden, I generally avoid them like the plague. Sadly, this goes for much of the urban fantasy genre as well, to the point of having pretty much given up after series after series of “deadly eight words” reads (I.e. “I don’t care what happens to these people”).

Undeath & Taxes (Fred Book 2)
Undeath & Taxes (Fred Book 2)

Review:The book had a number of well written vignettes about Fred and his friends. A good book to delve into without any stupid insta love romance or overdramatic villians that seem to plague the vampire genre. Thanks Drew! Read more

Book 3 - Going Rogue - Stealth Series
Book 3 - Going Rogue - Stealth Series

Review:As always a fantastic take into the minds of both players and NPCS. An exquisite romp through a well fleshed fantasy realm with a hint of danger and excitement in the real world. I cannot express the longing I have to both read the next book and to get my hands on something from broken bridge publishing. Read more
