While I do not like rock star books, usually because the main male lead is one of those guys I show my shotgun and shovel to. He is a total douche and she is nuts to even give him a look. Your writing his fantastic and amusing, but your characters could use a little polishing. Thank you, Danny Scott

I liked the writing style, the setting and the characters, but not the ending. I thought it was a stand alone, and it turned out that it may have made more sense if I had read the previous set. The setting was AMAZING, I would love to find a place like this! Just wish I had read in order and want to spend even more on the following books ,to see where it goes.

I really enjoyed this story about Jason and Audra. He is a rock star that wants the one woman he can't have. Audra had a crush on Jason since high school but she didn't want to lose her job for one night of sex. After she quits her job she finally has her one night with Jason. You would think the story would go from there. But the story comes to and end after she goes to bed with him. I hated the way the story ends.

I expected so much more. I enjoyed the descriptions of the island and could really visualize every plant or frog the author wrote about. I felt like the story just dragged and went no where fast. Maybe because it is a series, I am not sure. I think Audra was believable but Jay seemed so needy it just made me wish the two would hook up and put me out my misery. My favorite part was the last page.

Audra is a woman with strong convictions. She has a job to do and cannot afford to lose her job by fooling around with the guests in the motel resort she works. Jay is a hot rock star bent on satisfying only his needs. When she turns him down, she becomes a challenge he had yet to have. She cannot let herself give in. She could lose everything she is working for if she does. Great book. Now off to find the sequel.

The suspense storyline is awesome. We glimpse into the lives of Audra, a hard working maid and Jay a rock star that everyone loves. Jay heads to an island to get away from everyone, trying to figure out what is his next move. Audra is the lucky maid who is assigned to his villa.
Couldn't put the book down. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

I really loved this book. I started reading and didn't stop until I had finished the book. I know that Jay was an egotistical jerk, but the further you get in the book, the more you can see that it is just the persona that he shows the public. Underneath all the rock star glitz, he is a nice guy. I am looking forward to what happens next. This series is a winner!

Definitely not a sweet clean romance, there's some definite heat here. Characters are pretty good and the story is well told, so as long as you don't mind the sex or language it will be a good read. The serial nature is a surprise, though, and not a welcome one. A heads-up would have been nice.

I enjoyed this book...however, when I looked up the next book (and those that follow), I discovered this each book follows the H with a new relationship with another women. And to be honest, can't say I liked him that much. You little cracks below the vernier; I guess you see more with the different women through the series. I liked the h so can't say I like that she just disappears. I wouldn't be reading the rest of the series.

This romance had me laughing more often than not. Jay's rock star confidence pitted against Audra's determination made for a hilarious, yet sweet read. The end is unresolved, and I am eager to find out what happens next.

While the author writes very well and her story was good, I found myself losing interest. I felt the story was dragging in parts. I love the male lead .He seemed like he would be a very deep person. The female lead had great values but she seemed to be angry all the time ,for me it was hard to identify with her. All in the story was good and I can see the author improving as she moves forward with her writing career.

I really liked this book. The reason I only gave this book 4 stars was because I didnt like how the end seemed rushed. I like how Jay seemed to realize in the end that he wanted Audra for more than sex. Good book. You should definitely read it!

I really enjoyed this unique rockstar romance which has plenty of passion, drama and touches of humor. Jay Felix is an irresistible rockstar who falls for Audra, a maid at the Romance Island Resort. Try as she might, Audra is unable to resist Jay's charms despite the resort rules about fraternizing with the guests. I'm really looking forward to the next story!

I loved this book and found myself laughing out loud several times. The accident scene had me giggling under the covers trying not to wake up my husband since I couldn't put this book down. Well worth a read and such a score to get this as a free book!

I've never been crazy about the "rock star" genre, but was pleasantly surprised with this book. The best part was the leading lady, "the maid," and the worst part was the hero, "the rock star"... but don't give up on this story. The writing is excellent and well-edited, the setting is fun, most of the characters are interesting and eventually, the hero becomes less irritating, too. I was pleasantly surprised and will read the next book in this series.

I enjoyed this book. It had no boring dialog with the reading moving along smoothly. I try to read most other books of this type and get bored with the unnecessary writing that seems to be used only to make the book longer. Then I will stop reading and go to another book. That did not happen with this book!

I really enjoyed the build up to the couple getting together, but wished the main character was a little less of an a#!hole. There were some parts where I became really angry. Overall a good read and I would like to read more about these characters...not sure if the next books involve them. I like books with happy endings.

This was a very enjoyable read, that once I started I could not put it down. It moves along at an amazing pace, has awesome characters and a story that will not let you down. This book must be read, there is no doubt about it.

I love Audra. She is strong with great values who holds her ground. Jay, well he is an arrogant womanizer. He has his moments of sweetness but don’t count on him changing his ways. This is a fun read with some nice steamy moments. There is no cliffhanger. It ends on a good note but, it is not your typical happy ever after.

This is a totally awesome read! Jay is a spoiled rock star in hiding. Audra is a made working her way up and gets the added responsibility of babysitting him ( to get a full time position at work) This story is quite a ride. If you love Rockstar romance, it's a total must read!

Really enjoyed the verbal play between the “Maid & the Rock Star”. Love all the books I’ve purchased from Demelza. She hooks you in from the start, feeds you well in between & delivers a satisfying ending!

A good read, the plot was solid with nice imagery of the location, it had good background of the characters and plot was believable, not sure why people gave it one star, it may not be everyone's idea of a perfect book but it was well written and easy to read I would give 4.5 to 5 stars

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It has a good flow and reminds me of movies like Maid in Manhattan, only with a bit more naughtiness. If you enjoy romance books, you'll absolutely love the whole series.

Audra was a really wonderful, kind, hard working person. I can't say the same for Jay. But he did really seem to care for her and I enjoyed reading the book. It ended in a cliff hanger and I read the blurbs on the rest of the books in the series. Evidently he didn't care for Audra all that much.

I could not stop reading this book. Yes the male character is what one would assume for a Rock Star. But the female character, she is something else. Doesn't give in to the male character and tells him "No" and I just couldn't put the book down. To me this was fast paced in a way where I had to keep reading to find out what happens next. Great read, but it doesn't end how you think it will.

Fun story, with well-developed characters. Believable story line. Didn't care for the hero, and think the heroine should have held out for someone better. Of course, it's technically possible she does, since the book ends abruptly after they spend the night together. I didn't care for that at all. I don't want to have to read multiple books to find out if the guy grows up.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book, and particularly the way it was written. I'm now a fan and intend to read all of the books in this series, then start on any others. Demelza knows how to write and keep my interest on a subject that many others have written about and not succeeded anywhere near as well.
