Brianne hopes to pursue a career as a romance author. She's taking a creative writing course in college, but as a virgin, she's definitely struggling with writing her sex scenes. She's required to submit her manuscript to a publishing company, and when she sees negative feedback, she's devastated. One thing leads to another, and she ends up meeting Jackson, the very man who rejected her work. Jackson is more than happy to teach Brianne everything she needs to know, and then some! Steamy hot, and I loved their side stories as well, they brought some balance to the romance aspect. Good plot and spicy love story! I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Brianne is a college student who wants to write romance novels the only problem is that she has no experience with sex since she is a virgin!
Jackson is a publisher who has a dark past and lives with a lot of guilt causing him to be an jerk!!!

I loved this book and read it it one sitting. There was a little bit of everything in this book danger, hot steamy sex, i sweet and sassy virgin and a dirty talking alpha male what else can you ask for in a book.
I also liked that there was real emotion between the two characters!!!

Great story full of danger, excitement, bad guys, romance, bad girls,BDSM,one super hot Dom,a virgin and some very, very hot sex scenes.
I absolutely loved Brianne and Jackson together, she is a struggling romance writer due to the fact that she is a virgin and is having a writers block on the sex scenes and he is a publisher who rejects her manuscript.
Her roommate realizes the publisher, Jackson, is into BDSM she sets Briana up with him and the sparks start flying.Jackson is more than happy to teach Brianne everything she needs to know, and then some!
Penelope Bloom has hit it out of the park again with this one.

A really good story. Briana's writing a romance book and is failing with the romance and intimate scenes. She needs some inspiration and first hand experience and thanks to her roommate she now has the opportunity to learn from the best, the man who criticized her work. Jackson is a dom with some past issues and is dealing with guilt. He has never had any luck in relationships. He is about to meet his match when he crosses paths with Brianna. An entertaining story with lots of drama, intrigue, excitement and red hot romance. Loved it. Another great read from this talented author. Voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader's copy of this book.

Brianne the college virgin whose lack of experience prevents her from writing love scenes for her romance novel.

Jackson the billionaire dom with a troubled past who is looking for a new submissive.

Jackson's critique of Brianne's writing sample leads her, and her roommate Lacey, to aeek him out. Jackson, not realizing that Brianne is the writer who he gave harsh criticism to, pursues her to become her dom.

The story is great and flows well. I do feel that it was rushed towards the end and that some details were out of place.

Brianne loves writing and romance, but when her work is trashed by Jackson, owner of his own publishing company, she wants revenge. Jackson has always been in control, of his life, his work and looking after his sister. When he meets Brianne, he feels like his life is no longer in control. He wants to control Brianne but they get more than they bargained for. When lives are changed, put into danger, big decisions have to be made. A brilliant hot, sexy, fast paced drama. They are so in tune to one another and take risks they never would have dared to before. A brilliant read

It is more than just a sexy Dom ?and a virgin ? there is twists and turns with plenty of sizzle ? to be read.
Meet Brianne an aspiring romance writer ?? with no real life sexual experience. Meet Jackson the rich ? sexy Dom. Their first encounter sets the scene of events into motion. What will happen next? Sorry no spoilers but here is a hint there's a Virgin and a Rich Sexy Dom. You do the math. Grab a copy today and start reading. Enjoy happy reading ?

This scenario starts out kind of funny but plausible and the characters are hilarious and sweet at the same time, but then it just rockets into crazy town with mobsters on their tail and 100 million a year payouts. Yeah..... an ending not in tune with the beginning of the book at all. Now it is a Dom reaction to protect his sub at all costs, but self preservation has to factor in as well. Plus this is not a long term solution.

All in all not impressed not with the length or the rushed nature of the book. 2.25 stars for making a good premise to what could have been a great book.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. Brianne is in college and she wants to be a writer, but the sex scenes get her because she has no clue she's a virgin. For her class she had to send part of her story to a publisher. Jackson sent her a nasty letter back, but didn't read it. Her and her roommate find out he's a Dom and into BDSM. So her roommate sends him a email telling him she's a virgin and he's interested, she tells Brianne what she did they meet and decide to start a relationship. There are some people after Jackson so he makes a deal with them. Brianne and Jackson get married.

The guy on the cover really fueled my fantasies for Jackson! This author is fantastic! I love her writing style. Brianne is the first college student in her family. She wants to be an author. Her prof sends excerpts from his students to a publisher who sent a rejection letter to her which devastated her. She confronts him knowing that her virginity is hindering her romance writing. This is where the romance really blooms. Jackson is ready for a new submissive and gets a taste for Brianne. I received a gifted copy. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review. I honestly love this story and this author!

Brianne is a college student, who is also writing a novel, but unfortunately she is suffering from writers block. Jackson is a publisher, who has given Brianne a very negative review on her book. When these two meet sparks fly, but no spoilers from me, you really need to give this book a go for yourself!
This is a sweet, humorous, hot, storyline, with twists & turns, suspense, trust, relationships, and light BDSM. Penelope never disappoints with any of her work, and this one is no different. I recommend this authors work for all.

Loved this story. It was full of humor, drama, angst, steamy sex, and romance. I loved the secondary plot featuring the Dominicans. It added to the drama. Jackson and Brianne had great chemistry throughout and I felt them falling in love along the way. This was a very well written book. There were a couple continuity issues but not enough to detract from the story. I didn't, however, think this was a dark romance. Some might find it dark because of the BDSM elements but I actually found it pretty light. I would definitely recommend this story, and I would read it again. Read with KU.

I thought from the description of this book that I was getting a book about a grown woman who is an author who gets involved with a real man. But its about a 20 year old college student who gets involved with a supposedly billionaire publisher. I'm so over reading stories about grown men falling for girls. This book should be classed as young adult or new adult, not as women's fiction.

Brianne is a author\student with a problem. Her work has been rejected and now she has writer's block. She's upset at the man who rejected her work. Jackson, CEO of the publishing company. He's got money and knows he's Hot, but he himself has been holding back something that starting to eat at him. So when Brianne finally meets Jackson something feels like it could go somewhere and Jackson makes her an offer she really can't refuse. Read to see where doors open to these two through adventures of sex and passion that can lead to a HEA ending.

Our leading lady Brianne is so green behind the ears, she made me cringe a couple of times. She redefines naivety. lol
This book really only deals with BDSM elements. It's mentioned a lot but only done a couple times. Very lightly. Which kinda contradicts the state of Jackson's persona. In other words, he talks a good game at least.
The chemistry flowed very well and while the storyline was solid, the conclusion to the Dominicans threats seemed very rushed.
I received an ARC for my very honest review.

The meeting will either go one of two ways.. either Brianne will get to tell off the publishing CEO who has crushed her dream or she can let him teach her things she hasn't experienced. Both would make her feel better but one would cure her writers block.
Jackson has been celibate since he let his last submissive go. But one meeting with Brianna has him coming back to life.
This sexy story has a touch of danger and a lot of learning ahead for the pair.

This story was ok for me, a typical Billionaire type of story. There were parts I really enjoyed, and parts that left me frustrated. I know, for the story to have believability the heroine had to be young (she's 21), but did the hero need to be a 35 year old that acted like a college kid at times? That is a huge age gap, and it didn't seem believable to me (yes I know it's fiction).

Loved this book! The chemistry of Jackson and Brianne is real and tangible. She is quiet and meek in the beginning with a little fire but as the story progresses, she finds her fire. Jackson is the ultimate Dom/alpha. He starts to feel more for Brianne as the story goes. The Dominicans throw a wrench in the relationship and gives us the intrigue. Loved the characters and the friendships. Would recommend for a good read!
