Going Down Hard (Doing Bad Things Book 1)

Like every other book Jordan writes I loved this one to. Gavin is popular while casey is a bit of a nerd who doesn't fit in with anyone including the nerds, but one football field talk and coffe shop disaster and its love and first kiss.

Casey and Gavin went to high school together however she never really fit in and he was the star of the football team. She crushed on him from afar and the night of the prom they have a conversation which affected both of them until his cheerleader girlfriend tracked him down.

Twelve years later she is a makeup artist and he is a stuntman and they are working on the same film. The connection between is deeper than ever but will a stupid mistake destroy everything?

I love these characters as Casey is quirky and although she is not a supermodel he appreciates her for who she is. The banter between the two is hilarious, their chemistry hot and the story heartwarming. I can’t wait to see what she comes up with for his two friends. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

This story was a predictable but sweet story of Casey, the girl who was virtually invisible in high school and Gavin, the popular jock. Casey literally runs into Gavin at a coffee shop 12 years later and then discover they both work on the same movie set, Casey as a make-up artist and Gavin as a stunt man. Gavin makes a stupid bet that he can get Casey to have sex with him but what starts off as a joke turns into love.

So it's pretty easy to predict how this plot will evolve but the characters are great and the book is an entertaining quick read. Gavin was absolutely hilarious and so much fun. He helped Casey lighten up. Casey reminds me of a lot of people who have been wounded by others, even when someone genuinely loves them, it's hard for them to believe it, they often are stuck in a cycle of pain and fear of rejection. Gavin's love helps Casey overcome a lot of her insecurity. It's nice to see Casey become more confident in herself.

Entertaining story and I look forward to the next book, just Hope its a little longer!

This novella was amazing. I just adore Jordan's writing.
The story sets the pace nicely for what I'm sure will be a fantastic new series. I'm already hooked and eager for more. There's some interesting new characters I'm itching to know more about.

Casey Langley was just an ordinary school girl. Nothing special not one of the in crowd just a nameless girl that no one really paid attention to.

Gavin O'Leary is a popular guy the one every girl wanted but never stood a chance. Casey had been no exception she'd been secretly in love with the guy for years but he never knew she existed.

12 years later a chance encounter brings them together.
Gavin does remember the girl with the red hair. This time he intends to get to know her a lot better, she just doesn't know it yet.

I loved these two they made me laugh my Ass off. Casey isn't a push over and I liked her for that.
Gavin is just hot as hell and he has the sexy cockiness we all love in abundance.

Jordan's writing makes me happy. She has a wicked sense of humour and a dirty mind. The perfect combination for an Author. I always know I'm in for a treat with her books.
I certainly was with this one.

But Casey is scared to make a commitment as she doesn't want her heart broken by Gavin. As she begins to fall and the truth comes out will she be able to pick herself back up and find her happy ever after?

This was a great romance about second chances with the one that got away.

I loved Casey and all of her insecurities and I loved her attitude with the coffee incidents with Gavin. I loved that she didn't let him know who she was and had hoped he would figure it out on her own. I also really liked her hesitancy in getting involved with Gavin as she was shocked that he would want someone like her which did make me sad but I understood.

I wasn't 100% sure in the beginning what to make of Gavin as initially I was wondering if he was into Casey for the right reasons. When I saw how much he cared I was glad that they were getting somewhere but I knew his talk with Aden was going to bite him in the butt.

I loved the swimming pool scene and how Gavin wore down Casey's defenses!! The two together were awesome and I thought they brought out the best in each other.

Michelle was pure evil with how much she wanted to get back and stir up trouble. I couldn't believe what she was going to do to Casey after the coffee incident!

I am loving getting to know Aden and Titan and looking forward to Aden's book next!

"GOING DOWN HARD" by Jordan Marie

Another 5 seat read by the wonderful author, Jordan Marie.

Casey has had a mad crush on Gavin throughout her school years. But unfortunately, Gavin has no idea who she is. One night at their high school prom they finally meet. The conversation is going a little slow as she is having a hard time finding her voice. Once she is able to start speaking they really seem to like each other and everything is going well....until his high school girlfriend and prom date starts looking for him.
Gavin walks away from Casey never to see her again......until 12 years later.

This book is hilariously funny and the sassy mouth on Casey is a complete turn on for the oh so sexy Gavin. I love their banter, but they also have their serious get to know you moments.
Great chemistry between all of the characters in this book. Funny, sexy, sweet, conniving....you'll find it all here. So if you're looking for a great rom-com, you've got to read this book.

This is book one of the "Doing Bad Things" series. Enjoy your read !

Hot and just plain awesome. Aden and Hope both give a great story. This book kept me interested from the beginning until the end. These characters are some of Jordan Marie’s best to date. The writing was great, the characters entertaining, and the plot awesome. This is a great book that I got lost in from the beginning. This is a story of the new beginning and finding that peace we all look for. This is a great book that I would so recommend if anyone was looking for a new author or just a great book to read. There is nothing better than getting lost in a great book forgetting about the world around you and that was what this book did and that is why I enjoyed it so much.
