Cocky Roommate (Book Boyfriends 2)

This story had me hooked from the opening pages. The characters were so well written they could be your next door neighbors. Weston and Kendra take the reader on an emotional ride filled with adorable one liners and thought provoking back stories. It was great to catch up with characters from previous books and I look forward to reading more. I highly recommend this book.

Meet Kendra and Weston. Kendra is beloved by friends and family while Weston really doesn't have any friends. Well, he does hang out with Kendra's brother who apparently feels he has enough redeeming qualities that he suggests Weston move into his sister's house while his is being remodeled. Poor Kendra just wanted a roommate and assumed that would be a woman. She can't figure Weston out. She's certainly unsure as to why he doesn't like her. Kingsley provides everyday roommate issues plus some twist and turns as these characters evolve and find a way to make it work. Steamy, fun read with an enjoyable cast of characters! I received an ARC for an honest review of this book.

Kendra is a nice person,liked by everyone.Weston is not.He is a friend of her brothers and he moves in with Kendra while his house is being worked on.Kendra will find the good in Weston eventually and find a hea after an emotional ride.I enjoyed the book alot and the characters were very true to life.I read this book as an arc and this is my honest opinion.

Cocky Roommate by Claire Kingsley is skillfully written and captivated me from the cover to the very last page. This hate-to-lovers romance is filled with feels, witty banter, hot scenes, well thought out plot, humor, characters that you can't help but like, and so much more.

Loved seeing Weston evolve from a cocky a-hole to a man worthy of Kendra. I enjoyed Kendra in Book Boyfriend, but we get to see more of the compassionate woman who you could see as being a great normal friend. It was great to read about Alex and Mia and see both couples HEA. Another sweet and steamy book from Claire Kingsley!

This one is definitely going on my "favorites to re-read list"! Cocky Roommate is my first read of Claire Kingsley's but I'm starting Book Boyfriend as soon as I hit send on this! Kendra and Weston's story was amazing....and amazingly hot! While this book can certainly be read as a standalone, I'm a sucker for characters who can pull me in and leave me wanting to read more, more, more...and that is exactly what Claire did here!

A storyline with a lot of twists and turns which helps to make this story interesting. A new roommate, referred by her brother, moved into her small house while she is traveling. Little does she know the roommate is male not female. Now the fun begins. They are both interesting and very strong personalities. Makes for a fun story.

This is another great book by Ms. Kingsley. You don't HAVE to read book boyfriend first, but you'll be happier if you do.

The characters in the story are super hateable- and then super likeable. You go from rooting against them to rooting for them. I love this series and can't wait for the next one!

What can I say? When I first started reading this book, I thought Weston was rude & above himself but at the end you end up loving him!

Claire Kingsley's Cocky Roommate was the perfect follow-up after reading Book Boyfriend. This story was mouth watering delicious. The author has a knack for adding just the perfect mix of hilarious banter that cracks you up laughing to the point your sides ache from the laughing. Cocky Roommate was sexy, hot and delicious!!

Loved this book! This author's work never disappoints. The stories move along at a good pace and keep the reader interested, which is important to those of us who might have a short attention span! Personally, when I determine if a KU book is worthy of 5 stars, the question I ask is, would I buy it? This is a definite yes to that question!

Weston was such a fun hero as he developed through the novel. He was such a jerk st first, like seriously an ass, but hearing his POV throughout the novel added a lot to his character and why he was the way he was. Loved it.

Kendra and Weston were awesome. Weston was a piece of work and Kendra was a saint for putting up with him in the beginning. It was great to revisit the characters from the previous book. Can't wait for Caleb's story.

This has become my new favourite Clairs Kingsley book! CK can really write a good A-hole character that you end up loving. Weston is such a jerk I wasn't sure he was redeemable. I loved and could relate to Kendra through the whole book, and I wanted to defend her messy bun and pajama pants! I was hooked right away and couldn't put it down. This will definitely be a book I go back to re read

I love roommate romance novels, they are my weak spot. I really liked the characters the story was really good it kept me up all night reading, I couldn't put it down. Try this book you won't regret it.
