Exactly as the title stimulates the reader, the fatal twist of the plot enhances your interest and intrigue at the Wisteria Tearoom. Patrice Greenwood creates an environment that makes the reader want more and not just tea.

This is the second Patrice Greenwood book I have read. I enjoy them as they are a pleasant, easy read. The characters are likeable and there is a murder and a hint of romance. What more could you want for a beach read!

This mystery was as rich in texture as an English mystery by some well known authors from across the pond. I really enjoyed it and hated that it ended. I'll definately look for more of Ms. Greenwood's stories !

Pleasant entry in the cozy world, complete with tea, ghosts, and a nice Santa Fe setting. Some of the character interactions are a bit formulaic...but it's a cozy mystery, not Shakespeare.
I'll try book 2.

This is not great literature but definitely the light mystery I like. Great New Mexico location. Good characters. I enjoyed it and will look for others in the series. Oh, and it's great with a cup of tea and a scone!

This was an enjoyable world and characters, that could have used a few more plot twists. I'll be reading the next books to see where it goes. Love the Southwest setting and English tearoom, plus the various ethnic and cultural representations.

I like the backstory of the main character and the links provided to New Mexican culture, history and preservation. The mystery wasn't terribly complex, but it moved right along. I loved the descriptions of the buildings in Santa Fe and the teahouse food sounds amazing. Looking forward to more in the series

I really enjoyed this book, and have purchased the next two in the series. The characters are likeable and the authors descriptions of the tea room and other rooms, also her descriptions of the clothing people are wearing I find very enjoyable. The mystery is also very engaging, wasn't sure till almost the end of who the murderer was!

I liked the characters and the protagonist. I look forward to the next in the series and to see what will happen with Ellen and the detective .
The only thing missing were recipes for some of the food sold at the starship.

I love anything to do with traditional tea...this book has that and much more.

The murder takes place in a tearoom. And revolves around the tearoom...loved it!

It has everything I enjoy in a book...mystery...a bit of romance...and friends.

Afternoon tea and tea rooms are favorites of mine, and drew me into reading this book. I was delighted with the tea house and food descriptions, but immediately found myself caught up in our heroine's story and the unfolding of the tale. I am very much looking forward to the next!
