Robert's Rules of Order Newly Revised (Robert's Rules of Order (Paperback))

This is the standard for formal meetings. Complete, accurate, and very formal.

I found that although this reference book covers everything in detail, I found Robert's Rules for Dummies to be quick and easily understandable and a great companion book to this detailed reference. (_:

All of the rules are there. However, if you have poor eye-sight, you might want to consider a different version. The size of the type is very small similar to the type of a dictionary. This is probably due to the fact the the book is the size of a thick paperback novel. A lot of information to get into that format of a book. I am glad that the parliamentarian of our group has better eyesight than I do. I need to wear a second pair of glasses to see the print. My fault that I did not look at the dimensions when ordering.

I ordered this to help me develop an understanding of the caucus proceedings in my state, as it turns out this book covers every type of meeting and gathering imaginable, its a great resource especially for homeschoolers or highschoolers and anyone else who might occasion public or formal meetings.

Our administration (small college) somehow got this off of our committees. The teachers no longer have a vote on anything! This stuff is so important and you don't think about it until you have lost the rights that these rules protect!

This 11th edition book covers quite a bit of information. From a little information about Robert, to why these rules came into existence, etc., etc., etc., this paperback book easily can be keepsake.
