Rest on Sunday but do something useful and fulfilling the remainder of your week. Every minute. I love the section on learning more about what interests you instead of just enjoying it in ignorance. Entertaining and fast read.

Mr. Bennett's concepts are as valuable today as they were when he pinned the book. There are so many TGIF'ERS in our society today this should be a must read reading for everyone. If you need more time and less stress this is the book for you or some one you know.

I enjoyed the language and humour used by the author to convey these important points. It is also a beautifully short book which can be studied easily so that it's principles may be applied not just learned.

exceptional writing, fantastic message, one of the best books I have read in about a year.
whether you think it applies to you or not, read it. you won't be disappointed and if you reflect on the message. You will realize it has some application in your life.

It was a nice, short afternoon read and a motivator toward mental discipline! I really enjoyed it! It made me realize how much time I just let my focus drift around and helped me resolve to correct my l a co of focus.

I listened to the audio version of this book. It was not earth shattering but is a good reminder that time is one of most valuable resources.
It is a quick read and if you want a quick short of encouragement, I would recommend it getting it.

24 pages long, read in a single evening, this very enjoyable and entertaining take on how one ought to live is both well thought out and humorous in a way only someone who takes his own advice can be. I got this book for free but I think I just inherited a fortune.

The message is simple and expressed so beautifully. We all get the same amount of time in a day. No more no less. What we do with it is up to us. Well spent or wasted. But the British say it so much more elegantly.

Great book, great read. It's short, quick, and to the point. There's no doubt it was written a while ago--that becomes obvious after reading the first page. But I'm confident that Mr. Bennett's advice is just as applicable today as it ever was. I highly recommend it.

Great principles! I want to recommend this book to some of the girls I'm mentoring. The ones who read Jane Austen on a regular basis will have no problem with the language; but the sad reality is that getting used to writing like this takes some effort.

Useful, enthusiastic but understandably dated - for best results, take the "make every moment count" spirit of the book and find your own ways to apply it to today's environment. A nice quick little read with plenty of highlightable snippets of inspiration. Well formatted, too.

I really enjoyed this quick read. It is ideal for the kind of person continually seeking to improve the quality of their lives - the kind of person obsessed with self help books. I must say it's a little too short - I felt left hanging in the end, like I needed a few more tips!

Even though it was written a hundred years ago Mr. Bennett managed to grasp ideas that will be relevant for many generations to come. His advice on making use of travel time by practicing concentration and contemplating on poems therefore ideas is something worth practicing.

I downloaded this on kindle becuase it was free, but I found it surprisingly enjoyable and even mildly helpful. The author has a quirky sense of humour and an easy-going writing style. His main premise is thought-provoking even if you don't agree with him entirely.

Excellent book with a variety of practical and applicable suggestions. The book does lean a little toward a humanistic mindset leaving no room for and hardly mentioning religion. However, overall a powerful little book with much help provided.

I would recommend this book to a friend. Good and simple suggestions. More of a "do what you love & use time wisely" approach than a "get off your but, flood your schedule and don't sleep" approach. Refreshing.

It's a fairly short read, and extremely straight to the point. Every principle here is still very applicable today and, honestly, needed more so now than back then. It's the starting point to free up and expand your mind, character and knowledge.

Bennett's observations on human behavior and subsequent advice for living a more meaningful life are surprisingly relevant for anyone who forgets to fill the time outside of their work day in meaningful ways. What do you do with your "sixteen hours"? His voice is reminiscent of Twain...
