Minecraft: Blockopedia

I purchased Minecraft for my grandson - never heard of it before now. He was so excited and knew immediately when he unwrapped his gift what it was all about. He and his Dad can't wait to put it to good use. Thanks again the store for helping me to be the hero of the day!

I ordered this book for my kids for Christmas. While they loved it and I have no quibble with the information contained inside, two days after they unwrapped it, the pages were already coming loose from the binding. I guess there's a reason there aren't a lot of hexagonal books out there: the short side for the binding isn't enough to hold the pages in. Given how heavy the book is and the presence of a ribbon bookmark, generally signs of quality, it's a shame that the book isn't going to hold together very long.

It came perfectly on time. It is a hexagonal book, the black you see around it is actually a nice black box for it to sit in with a plastic cover over the book. The book itself is made a good quality paper and seemingly well made. I am very impressed with it. It also has a black ribbon book mark that is part of the book. The Book itself goes over the different blocks and things of mine craft from naturally generated blocks all the way to crafted blocks like stairs, fences, brewing stands. It covers just about everything. I definitely recommend it and for the prime price, it is DEFIANTLY worth it!

The book itself is awesome so my grandson says however the case/box that is stores in came rather tattered and crinkled and that made him rather disappointed as he likes his minecraft articles to be perfect. Therefore I am told that I can't give it a perfect score. He is pleased with the 3D appearance of the book and he loves the reference that it gives him. I did notice that the price has dropped a few cents in the past week & I do think when that happens in such a short interval that a credit should be issued just as a good measure to make customers happy and keep them coming back. Most of us spend a small fortune on all this specialty "stuff" like minecraft so I'm sure the sellers should appreciate us.

This was purchased as a gift for my Minecraft-loving son. He was very excited when he unwrapped it and proceeded to flip through several pages. He has since been reading it and thus far it appears to be good quality and interesting enough to hold a 9 year old's attention.
