Diary of a Minecraft Zombie Book 2 - Bullies and Buddies (Volume 2)

Got these for my Minecraft crazy son for Christmas. Since Christmas my ADHD son read all three. As far as reading level for fifth graders I don't think they're the highest, but anything that makes my son love reading gets a high grade from me.

Okay it’s a diary story book, about what you would expect. Not too badly done, though not my cup of tea… Age level, I don’t think many teens would be interested in this, the character is only 12 and basic rule of writing is your audience is no older than you character. Yes there are exceptions, but not at this level.

For what it is it gets 5 stars, recommend it for free, but if it stays at $0.98 it’s worth buying for the younger ones. It’s not great literature, but at least they are reading English at a semi reasonable level.

A Zombie named Zombie in a Diary, Imagine that

My 4th grader loves these book. She's typically not an avid reader, but these books are so cleverly written that she couldn't put them down. We ordered the first two, and she'd read them both within a week. My daughter took them to school to show all of her friends (the same ones who wanted nothing to do with Minecraft until my daughter introduced them to it), and the books were a hit. We will be ordering the next volumes soon.
