I would recommend her books to everyone who likes to see a fiction novel based on a Biblical character and the surrounding history of that character. She has mastered this art beautifully. Her books grab your attention early on and you can't put it down until it's finished.

What a wonderful book. I have read it three times and could read it again right now.
Staying close to God, believing and standing firm when all seems lost.
Loving anyway. Letting truth be known rather than allowing lies prevail.
Knowing when to speak, when to wait.
Practically giving a hand, learning from the elderly, such wisdom.
Love prevails.
So well written ....
Mmmmmmmmmmmm
Thank you Francine Rivers for developing and using your God given talent so very very well.
Amazing
Praise God!

The thing I liked most was the message of salvation by grace through Christ is repeated throughout the book. Resentments that have been long held but prayed for were softened in some cases and not in others. Much like in real life. The only thing was the main character's choice regarding marriage was not fully developed but glossed over.

I have always enjoyed anything by Francine Rivers and this was one of her great works. I have already recommended it to several as a great read. I do not want to go on about the story line except to say it is worth reading. As always I can always find something in the story line that I can apply to my life and I saw several situations that are pertinent for me today.

Came quickly and in great condition.

Francine Rivers is one of the most fascinating and thoughtful authors I've read. Her inspiring stories of the faith walks of multiple characters are captivating. I feel like I can relate to each character in a different way in every book of hers that I've read. This is my 5th.

Ms. Rivers turns our attention always to the Lord, His creation and His plan for our lives. Character development keeps you longing to see the characters awaken to the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. I enjoy her writing.

Leota's Garden is a beautifully written, inspiring story that just kept me reading! And although the end was sad, it was so uplifting as well! There was one slightly jarring bit toward the end that didn't seem to fit, but after I finished the book, I could- with a stretch!- make it work toward the final conclusions!

This incredible story of the young and old and the choices we make in our lives can reach the heart of anyone who reads it. The reality of our world and the selfish choices we're making is disheartening, yet we are filled with hope by those who seek God's assistance and conclude no task is too hard with His help.

Another superb work by my favorite author. The beautifully developed theme of forgiveness and love overcoming deep hurt from family challenged me to examine my own response to offenses. Highly recommended.

This was such a great story. I could identify with Leota and felt so bad for her and her situation with her children. I could also see my myself in Eleanor a little bit too which opened my eyes. If we could all be like Annie the world would be a much better place.

Francine Rivers is a wonderful author. She does an incredible job of weaving a great story with the true Word of God. Each of her books truly captures the readers heart and causes the reader to yearn to study the Bible even more. This book gives a great prospective of the life of the elderly and how God uses them and how he uses the young to show love to them.

Although there are many references to God and faith in this book, it is important to the ending of the book. I was slightly annoyed with the references at first, but you grew to love all of the characters and their development moved the story along. It was a great book.
