This was required text for my Educational Psychology course.

Luckily .. the book is very detailed with many examples, because my teacher just breezed over most topics. We had to learn everything from the textbook.

The content can get dry at times...more the topic then the layout. The book does a good job of adding lots of extras to keep you interested.

I used the 1997/8 edition during my college years and got this edition when I went to grad school.
Although there are newer editions out there, I think this is still a good buy if you're after the basics.

This book was out of stock at my college bookstore. I ordered it on the store and received it two days later... just in time to study for a quiz. Aside from class use, it is a good source of general information about educational psychology. There are plenty of real-world examples and thought-provoking questions that help also.

I used this workbook as a supplement to prepare for the CLEP exam in Educational Psych. I would highly recommend this workbook as a compliment to your Ed. Psych texts or for the CLEP exams. The only drawback: there are a lot of grammar/spelling errors. It drove me nuts! Other than that, an excellent workbook.

This is a great book. It describes, in detail, contemporary issues within the education field and how teachers can and should, positively handle emotional, psychological, and family issues. This includes various cultural and familial issues that are brought into the public school setting, including preschool settings.

Book is an excellent overview of educational psychology. Was purchased for a college course. Bought it used online with the store and saved a ton of money over boobstore prices. All future texts I am able to purchase this way, I certainly will.

Bought this for a Psych Education class (obviously). Amazing textbook. It's rare in a textbook that you read a chapter and thinking "wow this is directly applicable to the classroom." Great textbook!

Excellent and well researched concepts in this book. Very insightful and i am learning a lot. However sometimes the sentences are cumbersome and you have to break it down to understand. Overall I recommend it.

Educational Psychology (11th Edition), Text Only

this book is being used by me in my graduate educational psychology class. this is easy reading, great examples and references,

I would recommend this book to teachers, educators and students. * if I had read this book early in years, i am not 60, i would have been a better student

I have been a purchaser through the store and have always been very satisfied, the products are always as described and needed.

five stars to the store and the book, great Author too!

Educational Psychology is a great overview of the subject, but it is written in a dry way that makes it impossible to actually read. However, each chapter ends with a helpful summary. If you have to buy this for a class, read the summary first and use it to direct you to the parts that either interest you or are relevant to your assignments. There is also some great feedback from real teachers on how to deal with common problems related to each chapter's subject.

The book I ordered was exactly what I needed for my course and was in great condition as the seller said it would be. It was at a great price too. Shipping was quick too! I would buy from them again if they have a book I need. ^_^
