SPEED (A 44 Chapters Novel Book 2)

I seriously didn't think it was humanly possible to love BB's work anymore than I already did. I LOVE her spunky punky fiesty rebellious style of writing. Middle Fingers in the air and a smile on her face and NOFX playing in the background. She writes with a force and a passion and I just feel it. She just gets me. I L O V E H E R. She is my soul mate. Hands down. No question.

She had my heart with 44 Chapters, she rocked my world with SKIN, and I thought that love was maxed out... ENTER HARLEY JAMES.

He is by far one of my favorite book characters I have ever read about. He has this light fun easy going air about him. He has so much love to give and BB just eats it all up. Seriously these two, their chemistry is OFF the charts. Its Young (and even younger) love at its finest!

I was absolutely obsessed with the memoir and when I heard that she was writing four spinoffs I couldn't wait to read them all. Skin was one of the most beautifully twisted love stories I've ever read. Speed lived up to every expectation I had.

Harley, the baby faced bad boy. He's a character you are not likely to forget about anytime soon. The characters are so real you can feel them in the pages. You root for them. You want to kill them. You'll laugh, cry, and mourn when it's over.

From the gritty raw aspect of BB's writing to the punk and street lifestyle, she's a favorite of mine. BB has a fan for life in me. I highly recommend this book, and her others. Hop in and let Easton take you on a ride. You won't regret it. You'll only regret turning the last page.

HAVE YOU EVER READ SOMETHING THAT IS SO ENTHRALLING THAT YOU CAN'T TELL THE DIFFERENCE OF WHAT IS REAL AND WHAT IS FAKE???? that is totally this book.

You relive the awkward first heartbreak, the feelings that never seem to go away, and how you think it's the end of the world. You fall for the rebound guy, and realise he is not as good as you imagined cause you're still hurt from the first one. You see how someone's life changes drastically, and for the better. You go through the tough self image phase and you go through the decision of what you want to be and how you can help others. This book is so epically written that it feels like you are right there, experiencing it all over again.

So many emotional ups and downs. Laughing out loud one minute, tearing up the next. This is definitely a rollercoaster read and I loved every minute of it. I love getting glimpses into BB's life. I have enjoyed everyone of these stories. I will admit, Knight is still my favorite, even though he totally shouldn't be. I did love the lightness that Harley brings though and the humor. I love the nostalgia and the youthful feel of the story as well.

This was another great installment in BB's Chapters series. I definitely can't wait to read more from her and see what happened next.

I normally speed through books, but I took the scenic route with this one. Harley came in like lightening which gave me whiplash. In a good way, so I knew I had to take this one slow. BB needed an outlet to escape from her hurt and her love of cars...well she found that outlet with Harley. Their encounters felt fast paced, but for them it worked. Is it weird that I liked how he called her "Lady"? I'm still #teamknight but I liked the side of BB we got in Speed. The beginning of her embrace into the field of psychology. I'm excited for Hans and the rifts he and BB will experience.

Oh Harley! Wow...BB knocked it out the park...lucky girl! She had a pretty radical teen life full of wild and crazy down right dangerous shenanigans. I kinda love and hate Harley and wonder how things would have been with Davidson but Knight oh my wow....that lovable psycho will always be my favorite! This is a must read that allowed my sheltered teenage self to live vicariously through her thrilling adventures but it also made my adult self cringe in fear over what kind of crazy hell I could imagine my teenager doing! I floved this book.

I'm holding onto the 5th star only because I want to love story between BB and Ken. We got 44 chapters set after marriage and Skin and Speed before the Excel-loving Ken. So I'm holding out until I find out how Ken won BB! I absolutely loved this story and although BB's experiences are completely different than my own, this story threw me back to my teen years and I loved it. It's so emotional and angsty and genuine even if parts are exaggerated truths. It's a time warp but I can't say enough... I'm holding out for my man Ken. I feel like he's a kindred spirit. I'm a Ken and my Husband is a BB and I know THAT story will shed some light on a how the crazy hurricane falls in love with a "husbot/wifbot"! GIMME MORE BB!

Although this book is really hard for me to relate to, I loved it. My teen years were extremely boring compared to BB's. Harley appears to be the perfect boyfriend, but will BB be able to let go of Knight?

How does she ALWAYS wrap me up so fast!? Probably because we have similar stories. :) She is absolutely AMAZING! Buy the book, read it & you'll end up rereading it because Knight just sucks you in & you can't help but to love him.

I am left speechless after reading this book!!! Ohhh myyy gaahhhhh...I am going to sound like a broken record here, but TRICIA BARTLEY, why...just why have you not read BB Easton's books yet? Holy Cow..I am in LOVE!!!! I can not tell you how much I love your writing style...the feels you gave me while reading this book!! I gut laughed sooo much and the Hawtness...good lawd...you write some hawt scenes woman!!! I could hardly put this book down!!! I stayed up sooo late reading and up in the wee hours to finish!!! lol I sooo fell in love with your characters!!!

Sooo like I said above...this was my first BB book and when I'm done writing this review, I am going back and reading 44 Chapters about 4 Men then I am reading Skin-Spin off #1. I in no way felt like I was missing something, but now that I am obsessed with this book, I want to read the other books now. BB mentions that after she wrote 44 CHAPTERS ABOUT 4 MEN, she decided to give each of her four men his own steamy standalone! SPEED is the second book in the 44 Chapters spin-off series—a gritty, taboo love triangle overflowing with dark humor and tangible teen angst. It is based on a true story.

Andddd It's soooo good y'all...OMG I am sorry I am late to the game..but OMG make sure you read these books and fall in love with the characters like I did!!! : )

I gave this book 5 STARS!!!! And yesss this book deserves sooo many more Cones!! Like I wanna be giving sooo many STARS until I get sick...that is how many this book deserves..lol
This book will definitely be a Fav read of 2017!!! Now onto 44 CHAPTERS ABOUT 4 MEN!!!

No other series sits firmly in my heart like this one. It's like a time machine straight back to the 90's and I love each second. Our favorite spunky, vulnerable, little punk is still reeling from events in book 1 and it was a journey that I inhaled to watch her navigate through in her signature style. Laugh out loud moments chalked up to teenage growing pains, you devour each and every word. Attempting to move on from our favorite psycho skinhead, BB meets seemingly refreshing and different Harley James. The writing is so vividly expressive that you feel like you are right there with the characters, absolutely no detail left unexplained. I absolutely love her inner dialog as she tries her hardest to figure out her life. It pulls no punches and deals with such real issues in an honest and lovable way. Her flaws are endearing, her journey is intoxicating, and I love watching her stumble and pick herself right back up. We all attempted to figure out who we were and where we belonged at that age, and the Author nails those feels like a champ. Somehow I fell for Knight and Harley right along with BB, even when my adult brain was screaming otherwise, and for the life of me, I didn't know who to root for. I can't wait for more, and I thank the Author for providing a copy to review!!

Jeez, my poor emotions! I was laughing, crying, mad and happy at all one time! BB and her shaved head, her piercings, mustangs and wild times brought me back to a time in my life that was wild and crazy! Good old baby face Harley and his Boss...gosh, what a hottie! So many steamy hot times! I fell in love with these books and BB from the first page I read in Skin. These books take you on a wild ride. I loved this book just as hard as the others...but this one, this ripped me to shreds with those letters and appearances from Knight himself. I am forever in love with that psycho Skinhead. And kinda jealous of BB, lol. This is definitely a book you want to read! So are 44 Chapters about 4 4 men and Skin. You will never want them to end. Thank you BB for sharing this story with us. Thank you for being the Punk wild child that you were. Thank you for knowing these men. Thank you for your dedication, but keep the kidney, too much has passed through them...haha! Love ya, and just joking! Fantastic read!

This is book #2 in the series. This series follows BB through her teenage years to an adult and through 4 major relationships. This book was Harley’s, but Knight (from book #1 Skin) was sprinkled in. Once again this book covers a large range of issues teenagers had to deal with and anyone who grew up in that time can relate. Harley was initially a character that you can easily fall in love with, but he had his own issues he was dealing it, and they quickly became too much. BB definitely matured in this book both mentally and emotionally. Harley did help bring her back to life when she needed it most. Dave was a great character and brought a lot of light to the dark. Knight had my heart breaking all over again for him and his circumstances. Knight and BB’s connection/relationship may not be the healthiest, but it’s deep and real to them. I love the way he loves her in his own twisted toxic way. I can’t wait to dive into the next book and continue this journey with BB.
