Adam's Song (8 Million Hearts Book 1)

Ben and Adam have a wonderful flow bred from years as best friends. Love the way they just 'work', from their dialogue to just hanging out on the couch. Quirks, insecurities, vulnerabilities are all there surrounded by understanding, support and love. Hope to see them again, I really love this pair.

I really enjoyed this book! I had already ARCed the second book before I read this one even though i had purchased it. After reading the second I had to hurry and read this one and I was not disappointed! Ben is the sweetest most patient person I have ever seen and Adam is more like me as in he is a little neurotic but in a god way. I loved this story and characters and would definitely recommend it.

This book was sweet and sexy and funny.

I enjoyed being in Ben and Adam‘s world for a few hours. I loved their banter and was very happy to find out there‘s a free bonus epilogue too for newsletter subscribers.

Adam and Ben have been best friends for seven years. Ben's a famous singer and Adam is s songwriter/singer. After a disastrous breakup with his cheating ex Adam nearly dies when he accidentally overdosed on booze and pills. Adam has felt broken for a long time and his too afraid to let people in because his scared of getting hurt. Ben never realized he was in love with Adam until he starts getting jealous of Nick. Storyline is really beautifully written and pulls at your heart. Poor Adam and his sister Ester has been through so much with their unloving parents. Loved Gray and Micah(is their a story here). I would love to see what happens with Nick and Eli. This author definitely always delivers on a good story. "I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book."

Adam has been hit with a triple whammy--betrayed, outed in public, and dumped all in one fell swoop! His show starts 5 minutes after the shock of his life. Stage fright, on top of the shock, has him self-medicating just a tad too much. Enter Ben, the man Adam has crushed on since college. The very straight, famous rock star wants to just drop his tour and come home to take care of Adam. Adam's life is in turmoil so Ben gets to help him after his tour ends. Ben is a fixer. Adam needs fixing. This is how the trouble and their love affair starts. In between is wonderful music and great friends to put things right when they gum up the works.
I really like the books Spencer Spears writes. They leave me in a good mood. The characters are so much fun. I love all of the series of books and recurring characters. It's like an old friend has come to visit when another book comes out to continue a series. I like the guys getting happy endings. I received an ARC of Adam's Song for a review. The epilogue is good too.

This was an interesting read.
The characters were very detailed - so much so that initially I got a bit impatient with them and wanted the story to move on faster - but eventually I began to appreciate the way it was written especially when at about 90% it tipped over into its wonderful conclusion. It was a very emotional and soul searching story with more depth than some others. It was written with a lot of realism - unexpressed thoughts and feeling - and unfinished sentences (which I often do when talking to my husband!). I got a bit fed up with the conversations containing the word "like" so frequently - but I also know that is how some of the younger people speak (again, it was just being true to life). Knowing what I know now, I would read it again, but with a bit more patience, knowing how wonderfully it would progress.

Adam's Song is a beautifully written friends to lovers story.
Both MCs are very likeable and the chemistry is off the charts.
This story has tons of feels and laughs.
I would definitely recommend this book as I will certainly be reading it again very soon.

Sarcasm and angsty goodness... what's not to like! There is a reason the friends to lovers trope is so popular. It makes one hot story and this book is no exception. I loved how the relationship developed. It was very real and true. Adam and Ben were HOT together.

An extremely well told story and one that absolutely makes you happy. I adore the love that Adam has carried for Ben for so long. The fact that Ben returns the feelings only make it better. This is an adorable story and most definitely a must read. This author has never disappointed and this book is no exception. I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book for an honest review.

I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book. LOVED IT! I couldn't put it down until the very end! It was great to follow the story between Adam and Ben and how they eventually find that they both need and love each other. You will enjoy if you have read any of Spencer Spears' other books!

I loved this story. It's characters were lovable and you could connect with them. The chemistry and interaction between Ben and Adam was amazing. I couldn't put it down. You will want to read this book. One of my favorite books by this author.
