Review:I love that it was a true story I left my husband sitting on the couch while I was making love, hardcore sex to his best friend in his truck. 3 days after Christmas and it was the best time of my life. Read more

Review:Bought this book since I, too, had lost my beloved dachshund and figured I would appreciate and sympathize what the author was writing about. There was too much symbolism for me. A straight cut story that was heartfelt and sincere without having to read between the lines would have been better. I understood what the author was doing but it was too strange for me. I still sympathize with him and his loss as any pet lover would. Read more
Review:Oh my God that short was amazing. It was all we wanted and more. Not only did we get closure on so much that happened and was never quite touched on, but we got the promise of their future together. It's crazy how much character development can be shown in a few pages but Pacat delivered. As always it was so well written and perfect that nothing bad can be said about it. Read more
Review:The greatest, most beautiful, torturing, powerful, insightful and original story of its time. It will make you ache with pain, rejoice with victory and cry out for better or worse. You simply must not only read this book but engulf yourself into the puzzles built within by the author to find real life prized items and find the best friends you never knew you had in your own online ward. You aren't just reading the story, you ARE the story. Read more
Review:I know many-a Murakami fan will disagree with me here, but I find this to be the most complex of all his works. Maybe complex isn't the right word. Enigmatic is better. I can talk for hours on all the other novels, but with this one...frankly I'm stumped. It deals with love and loss, that's clear, but I'm just entirely sure what he's trying to say about it in the end. It seems as if he's almost contradicting him self in a few places. Like the Sumire, Miu, "K" triangle. For a long time I thought ... Read more
Review:Based on the premise that at least one of the women accused at the Salem Witch Trials might really have been a witch, this story switches back and forth between Deliverance Dane (in 17th century Salem) and Connie Goodwin, a graduate student in the 1990's who is spending the summer before starting her doctoral classes cleaning up her Granna's old house. I liked the character development and the story lines. I did find Howe's use of dialect a little disconcerting. She used no dialect with her majo... Read more
Review:This was a quintessential bromance. I don't think there was anything I didn't like about the story. Ryan and Stefan have a history and now a new chapter. It moves quickly, but with the life long friendship, there is no "getting to know each other" stage. They already do. Character development is spread out and enough for the length of this book. A couple of good side characters that help fill out the story. The leap from friends to "bromo's" is primarily guided by Ryan, who identifies as ... Read more
Review:At twenty-seven, Tamelik has been a slave more than half his life. Submissive by nature, he can't help but fall in love with the master who treats him kindly.
Then he's ordered to purchase another slave.
He wants to hate Kai for being unruly and ungrateful. For being of the same race as the men who murdered his family. For being his eventual replacement in their master's bed. But it's hard to hate a man who cries himself to sleep, flinches at the slightest touch, and blushes beauti... Read more
Review:I used to read a lot of slash fiction online, but haven't done so in the past eight years or so.. I'm sorry that I missed Captive Prince the first time around, when it was originally published in serial form on Livejournal. It's still available free online, but I bought both volumes in ebook format after reading the first chapter - this first-time author is most definitely worthy of your support!
Yes, the overwhelming 5-star reviews are REAL! This is an amazing story, the best I've read i... Read more
