This was a quintessential bromance. I don't think there was anything I didn't like about the story. Ryan and Stefan have a history and now a new chapter. It moves quickly, but with the life long friendship, there is no "getting to know each other" stage. They already do. Character development is spread out and enough for the length of this book. A couple of good side characters that help fill out the story. The leap from friends to "bromo's" is primarily guided by Ryan, who identifies as gay but is not loudly out. Although the experimenting is brought up by Stefan. There are some trials and labels they both need to come to terms with throughout before they get their HEA.

Ok so I have read many of Darryls books, and this one was right up there with thr rest of them. Their are life lessons that u get from this book that u don't think about. You remember how your own high school journey went. Maybe not the exact same but the feel of it. And as the boys got older hiding who they are did not work. Just be yourself people will either accept you or they won't and thats ok. Love who your heart wants and don't let go. This book is amazing at showing the feelings of two boys who have grown into men. One not so sure of himself and one who knows what he wants.

Another great read by Daryl

this one is a little different. Stefan and Ryan meet in middle school and develop a perfect friendship..
Ryan has feelings for Stefan but just thinks they are best buds and this how buds feel.. As he gets older he realizes Stefan is his dream man .. Stefan is the hot shot baseball he parties, has women and thinks nothing of his best friend he left behind. Or does he???

One night Stefan needs help and Ryan is there to help.. Ryan does it because he cares, probably more than he should but he would never let anything happen to Stefan.. Once Stefan realizes Ryan loves him as more than just a best bud, will the friendship be torn apart

Let me start by saying that Daryl is a genius when it comes to M/M romance. He knows how to write them without being trashy. Just the right amount of drama and angst, you'll burn through this book and want more! This book deals with some emotional issues also. When you identify yourself as straight, but nothing ever feels right with that label, and you don't think you're gay, but you have heavy feelings for you best friend, things can get pretty confusing quickly. Who needs labels though when you can just go with the flow and do what feels right? This was a job well done with a nice slow build that dealt with the emotions nicely.

Read this book. I could go on and on about all the great things in this book but all you really need to know is it is a well written, smart, funny love story and I don't care if you read M/M or not if you like romance this is a book you must read. I couldn't put it down and I was emotionally invested in the out come. There is a point while reading this book that you will forget you are reading, you just fall into it and become part of the story.
I felt this book, like a friend was telling me about their life.
It's not overly heavy but has some great emotion, and lots of steamy heat.

I'm a firm believer that you can't have too many m/m books.
I'm a bigger believer that you can't have too many m/m books written by Daryl Banner.

Bromosexual is everything I need and want in a m/m book. It's sexy, fun, flirty, and a little curious. Best friends turned lovers? That happens.
Best GUY friends turned lovers? Well, that's usually a bit different.

But Daryl gives us his typical banter while delivering a sexy story combining two things I love: baseball and men.

I am voluntarily leaving my review of the Arc I received. I am a fan of Daryl Banner and all his books. Stefan and Ryan have been friends since their little league days but they had a fight that lasted 8 years. If you want to find out if the make up then you'll just have to one-click to find out. I will just say that this is DEFINITELY A ONE-CLICK AND MUST READ.

3.5 / 5 Stars

I usually love whatever this author writes. However, this time it was an ok read but I didn't love it.

Both characters made me kind of pissy, their conversations were a back and forth between from banter to silly remarks. Their personalities weren't that much better (Stefan was such a jackass) but throughout the story you get to see they's more than meets the eye. I could get into the story halfway to it, when their romance really starts. They have a lot of sexy moments I enjoyed.

We get a lot of friends to lovers, second chances and lack of communication that make this a nice read that can entertain you for a few hours.

Whenever I need a great funny light hearted book to read I know I will get it with a Daryl Banner boys book. I really loved these two. Ryan and Stefan both had such amazing personalities with all the banter they do back and forth plus when they talk to themselves and think too much you will laugh out loud. The way the story is told in past and present really lets you get to know the history and strong relationship these two share. I really enjoyed this book, it makes you think in grey.

I really loved this. Never once a dull moment. Ryan is a natural nurturer and will make sure some one is cared for even if someone don't want it. His heart has always been on his best friend and fellow middle and high school baseball teammate Stefan. From bullies to Bros. Stefan is an alpha, natural protector and has a strong attachment to his Bro Ryan. They had a falling out in senior year and lead to them being apart for 8 years. Ryan when on to college and degreeing in what he wanted to be and having his dream job. Stefan the lighting bolt of a runner went to minor leagues, living his dream, the ladies and awesome team. Stefan was great but he always missing Ryan. But that's life right?

OMG! I've volunteered to review this book for the author. Daryl did it again with another HOT, and STEAMY story. It's another hit out of the park. It had me drawn into each page. This is Ryan and Stefan. They were middle school friends. Daryl did an amazing job with creating the story-line in this one from the the ups and downs, disappointments and achievements. You can really see both characters like they was right there by you in person. I feel like I had known them forever. You will not be disappointed in this one. All you have to do is One-click it. Go ahead and get started reading. If you love reading MM then this is the one for you. Keep up the amazing work Daryl!

I enjoyed reading this book so much from page 1 all the way through to the end. Daryl Banner did such a great job developing the characters of Stefan and Ryan. When you are reading, you feel like you really know them, and you can feel their emotions. Yes, there is angst through this book, but it is balanced out by the humor and love. It is a wonderful story, and is so well written. I voluntarily reviewed this advance copy, and I highly recommend it.

Thank you Daryl for another amazing read.

I loved this story of Stefan and Ryan and everything that happened to them as kids and right up to the end. This book has all the feels and it was so cool to sit back and see the world thru their eyes. Especially Stefan when he came to terms with himself that he actually loved Ryan and not just as a bro or bff or whatever it is that guys call each other.

A total must read for sure!

I officially think it's impossible for Daryl Banner to create two characters that I don't absolutely fall in love with! This book was pure perfection! Ryan Caulfield and Stefan Baker make a perfect pair of "bros"- they are witty and down-right hilarious, and when needed, know where to hit each other where it hurts. Plus, one of the best parts of Ryan and Stefan's story is that it is 100% believable. You NEED to read this book!

I finished this book last night and loved every minute. Daryl Banner is a wonderful storyteller, taking the reader through the laughs as well as heartaches. Never a dull moment. The points of view from both Ryan and Stephan are spot on - showing how different two people can feel in the exact same moment. I highly recommend this book. Even if you’ve never read M/M before, it’s the emotions Banner provides that make it worth while.

This book just made me happy. I loved following Ryan and Stefan as their friendship developed and fast forward to the present. Stefan made me fall in love with him early on. That whole, it's ok if you are... sucked me in from the beginning. Watching as he started to learn more about himself and his open attitude and true love of friendship did me in. I loved it. This book was funny, sext hot and refreshing all in one.

This book was much deeper than I expected. It was sweet and enjoyable. Just two boys who loved each other in different ways yet at the same time, they knew that it was something much more. Adorable. I was expecting a raunchy and shallow read... I was wrong. That whole “judging the cover” business.... spot on.

Stefan and Ryan have what we all hope for. I loved their love for each other. I could feel their chemistry jumping through the screen, which is so hard to do. I laughed, a lot, at Stefan’s cocky attitude, and cried a little too. By far this is Daryl’s best romance yet!

Updated to add: Contrary to what someone misunderstood about a scene, there is positively no rape in this book. At all.

This was a wonderful read! The characters were well developed and the storyline was easy to follow. Very, very hot. I followed this one up with the author’s “Hard For My Boss”, which is equally awesome. I love the way this guy writes!

The deep & intimate relationship of these friends makes you feel like you are in their space watching their story unravel. The awkwardness, confusion, lust, self esteem, fear, and love emotionally drew me in to keep turning just "one more page." This will be the first of many Daryl Banner books in my library.

A hot sexy story about love and patience and romance. I would have liked to actually read the first time sex scene instead of alluding to it. Overall a good story. I would recommend this book to anyone.

I've never been a fan of the word Bro, but I like the story. I enjoyed the characters and their relationship. I like stories where the characters can't deny how they feel about another person regardless of how they perceive their own sexuality.

I rolled my eyes at the title but given the reviews I gave it a chance, and it didn't disappoint. There were enough parallels from my own life to make parts of this both a little heartbreaking and very relatable. I think many gay guys can think back to that age and wonder what if. It was also a very hot story.

I really did enjoy reading this. Two guys that were so close once upon a time then don't speak to each other for 8 years. The hardest part for me is that Ryan was/is just so naive it isn't believable. It's really hard to put a names to all the things I found wrong with this story, mostly character flaws, though they were still likable. With that said I still enjoyed the read.

This is a DNF for me. I thought it was clunky and the characters were forced. These guys, who had been best friends in high school, and had a falling out, just didn't seem real to me. The most important thing to me is character development, and believable characters. These guys didn't do it for me. Sorry.

The novel had an interesting premise and had mostly believable situations, but was hindered by the authors need to overexplain everything. I ended up skimming most of the novel because of his unnecessary verbose prose. The editing strangely allowed more than a few wrong pronouns and verb tenses. Even skimming the novel these errors were jarring.

It wasn't a bad novel. It just needed better editing, especially for extraneous prose.

Rent dont buy.

This was a DNF for me. Through the first part of the book, I was a little uncomfortable with the whole dominance thing of Stefan’s, but he had some enduring qualities, so I kept reading. The humor and the rapport between Ryan and Stefan was also enough to keep me going, as were some insights from Ryan. Then bam, Ryan rapes Stefan. Didn’t see that coming, especially since Ryan is a high school counselor. This was so out of character for Ryan, it left me reeling. Stefan says some form of no, not once, not twice, but five, yes, five times within the space of a page. “Nope, no . . . no butt stuff . . . really? really . . . not gonna happen.”
Dude, no means no. There was no role playing, no dom/sub relationship where a safe word could be employed. This was a situation where no should mean no, no matter how much Stefan ended up liking it in the end. Pun intended. There are more respectful, compassionate and yes, creative, ways to handle the reluctance of a straight character engaging in gay sex for the first time, besides out and out non-consensual sex. I will never pick up a book by this author again. He is firmly on my do not read list. I read through the reviews, and am quite shocked to be the only one to mention this egregious behavior. I am an avid M/M reader. I love the genre, especially books by male authors, but this went too far.

Ryan and Stefan were best friends in high school until they had a horrible fight. Fast forward several years later and Ryan stumbles into Stefan after witnessing him getting beat up. He feels like he can’t just leave Stefan, so he takes him to his house.

Really sweet and angsty read. The evolving dynamic between Stefan and Ryan was fabulous. The love story was organic. Enough drama to add tension. The writing is really amazing.

I loved Ryan and Stefan’s story. I was cracking up, tearing up, and loving every minute. Awesome characters, and as always with Daryl’s writing, awesome story. They are real and flawed and so entertaining. Definitely one-click this book. You will not be disappointed. Daryl is one of my must read authors. I have loved every one of his books I have read.

You can probably tell from the title that Bromosexual is a m/m romance. When reading it, it doesn't register to me as a m/m story, it's just a romance that happens to have two guys. After all love is love. It features two 'bro's', who's journey toward love is sidetracked by a falling out that lasted almost 10 years followed by a whole lot of denial and fun experimenting.

I loved this book so much, but it was written by Daryl Banner so I was expecting I would. I haven't read anything from Daryl that I didn't enjoy.

Stefan Baker and Ryan Caulfield were best bro's, little league team mates, inseparable throughout high school until their senior year when they had a major falling out. Both expected the other to fold and contact the other, neither did.

Almost ten years later circumstances find them together again, rekindling their friendship which was no easy feat with both holding on to resentments from the past, but it was also stirring up feeling from their teenage years that they didn't realise they had and until now didn't understand what they meant.

Acting on those feelings had Stefan questioning his life and who he was, reluctant to be labeled and had Ryan confused and unsure about Stefan's intentions, thinking it was because he was at a crossroads in his life.

This book is full of whit and humour and had me laughing out loud on several occasions, however it has it's serious side too and I shed a couple of tears at the emotional turmoil these characters were finding themselves in.

It all works out in the end, Daryl does promise a HEA but travelling the journey to get there with Ryan and Stefan is the fun bit.

Even though I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review, I am supporting this author and have already purchased a copy, and I urge you to do the same, you wont regret it

I am voluntarily providing a review of an ARC of Daryl Banner’s Bromance. I love Daryl’s writing. Although fiction, his stories have real people with real feelings. Friendship, angst, fear, love, self-doubt. They are all there, including understanding and forgiveness. Ryan & Stefan have been “bros” since their Little League days. They had a falling out that lasted for eight years. Stefan went on to play ball while Ryan got his Master’s. They reconnect one evening and the opportunity to restore their friendship is taken. I don't give spoilers, so all I can say is -- one click on this book and you too can enjoy the emotional ride Daryl takes us on with his characters. HEA & no cliffhanger.

This has to be one of my favourite m/m reads ever!! Daryl Banner did an incredible job writing this book. Friends to lovers, second chance and m/m all rolled up in one awesome book.
I loved reading Stefan and Ryan's story. No adulting was done until I read it from start to finish lol. I loved the flash backs from the past and seeing how they developed the friendship. I also loved seeing the relationship grow into so much more years later. Some parts made me laugh whilst some made my heart break. This is a must read for anyone who loves to read m/m.
