Highly recommend this book to any/everyone! It's helped me and put a lot of things in perspective. I still catch myself going down the masculine way of solving an issue when all my wife needs is support and love. I was recommended this book, I can definitely do the same

There are enlightening things in this book that I was never told growing up. I am a Dance Instructor, so helping my leads break away from the feminine and teaching them to be a superior male is crucial in partner dancing. This book is crucial to learning how to interact with a woman as a male figure and what to do to maintain that male superiority. Through this book, I am devoted to thinking, acting as, and even physically made aware of what it means to be a true male. I plan on having all my students, male and female, read this book.

If only more young men had inspiration and guidance from role models of this level. A great gift for our sons, husbands, nephews as they come of age and go out into the world with purpose and confidence.

Good information with deep insight...but the concept or logic will repeat itself after several chapters. Do not regret reading it yet could of done without so many similar explanations of same concept.

Personal development is taboo to many guys. Especially when it comes to masculinity. I have always found this very strange, however the solution could be for you guys feeling a bit intimidated to read it when depressed (of a heart-break, maybe?).
This book, if propperly digested and contemplated, will give you an astounding new understanding of what it means to be a man (hint: you'll be more FREE with this "definition" than with what you carry around now). Also, you'll understand your problems better; and WOMEN better.
I was one of the most wellrespected "gamers" (god I hate that term) in a small european country a couple of years back, and if I know anything about women, this book taught me it in a respectful, tactful and yet liberating way.
In other words - READ IT FOR GODS SAKE!

It's a good book with some useful information and interesting perspective of the "superior man", but at the same time it gets a little dull and useless. It's really kind of a weird feeling, because I'm glad I read it but at the same time there's nothing to retain and put into play. I guess if you're a real pull over then this book is a must read, but if you're the average guy and have a solid understanding of your "manhood" then skip this book. Like I said earlier I'm glad I read it because it was interesting but don't expect this book to change your life.
Thumbs up if this helps any!

It’s gut wrenching to read words that describe the mediocrity that I (and the majority of men I would imagine) have been living. This book is a must read for any man seeking to fulfill the best version of them-self.
I would also recommend it to any woman who senses their partner is floundering in life.

I thought this book was simply beautiful in the way it seeks to help men find their one true purpose, their raison d'etre, and to follow it until their dying breath, and to find it in every moment along the way. It warmed me to read these lessons, to know that I as a woman am not so far afield when I yearn for a certain kind of man to come my way. It's this kind of man. The kind of man who lives this book.
I will say, however, that while Mr. Deida certainly knows the mind and spirit of a man, he is not quite similarly gifted when it comes to the mind, spirit, and heart of a woman. In his book, the men stand alone--the man and his mission, that is. Women are the illogical, wild, constantly testing emotional children men must confront and
"put in their place," which is what apparently we all want. Well......not quite, David. I have a mission of my own that does not revolve around you. I have a spirit of my own, which does not exist solely to be "penetrated" by you. Yes, I'm emotional, got me there, and I believe life is meaningless without love, but I'm not quite the crazy woman in your book. I'm not looking to you to make every decision, either, even if I do want you to lead. I am perfectly capable of making my own decisions, and that doesn't make me masculine to say so, either! Despite his lack of deeper understanding of women [which is okay, I wouldn't expect him to know these things, it's not really his subject], I loved this book and what it says to men. I unabashedly recommend it.

No exaggeration. I grew up with an absentee father and no sisters, so I never understood women and always tried to treat them as I wanted to be treated. I grew up in a time of changing relationships and tried to be a "new age guy", but never felt comfortable in that role. This book gave me insight and hope that I could have a fulfilling relationship by acknowledging and celebrating the differences between masculine and feminine energy. It's like an instruction manual on how to be a man. Not in an old style machismo way, but in an enlightened positive way. My wife, a strong and independant woman, has read the book and likes the message. Highly recommended.

Recommended reading, wouldn't recommend to read in one day, take your time as it is a short self-discovery book. sometimes its a bit egocentric, but the underlining message of love can be found if you pay attention.
