The Golden Lily: A Bloodlines Novel

My book arrived four days after my purchase was made. I love Richelle Mead, and this book was exactly what I have come to expect from her! I loved the sires Vampire Academy and I pleasantly surprised to find out that she picked up shortly after the other sires left off with this book. She even brings Rose and Demetri back! The book "The Golden Lily" was in perfect condition. I couldn't put it down!

A hands down great book. The end leaves me needing more. The dynamic relationship between Adrian and Sydney is spectacular. You can just feel the tension from the beginning the end just gives you concrete proof of this no contact love affair. I love how Jill has been influenced by the bond in her own relationship as well she sees how much Adrian really cares for Sydney and how much it consumes him.

If you have been reading the series, then you will enjoy this book as well. Sometimes the plot gets a little predictable, but it's a very good series and I have enjoyed it even more than vampire diaries which I read first.

The heat between Sydney and Adrian seems to leap off from the page! The book, itself, is another chapter in the larger story being told (so I certainly can't stop now) and lays out more clues and details for what is to come. That being said, the here and now of the book keeps readers enthralled in Sydney's world and makes rooting for the "wrong" to become the "right." I can't wait to get started on book 3.

A wonderful series to read that will keep your interest. I have the entire collection along with the Vampire Academy Series. Looking forward to the next book to come out. Have had family and friend borrow them and have them hooked also.

Vampire Academy I loved, but this series I am obsessed with! Sydney is someone that I relate to so well and it really gave me an outlet and helped my own imagination grow leaps and bounds. I would wake up in the middle of the night when the books would show up in my kindle to finish them. Many sleepless nights because these books are literally too great to put down! I was so sad when they ended. It was like a little piece of me left right along with them in their happy little world!

This book was really great. It was even better than the first bloodlines book. There was more action and more depth to the story. I wish they would make movies out of this series. With the right actors it could be a hit like the twilight series.

Love how they interweave the characters between the two series. It introduces what happens when humans get mixed up in the vampire world. And Sydney kicks some serious butt in this book, Adrian almost finds himself, cannot wait to read Indigo spell!

Richelle Mead is an excellent writer. Her brilliant ability for story telling heightens the imagination, emotions and fuels a hunger for more. She wittiningly guides you into one amazing adventure after another via laughter, tears, mystery and intrigue. I highly recommend reading the Vampire Academy series prior to the Bloodline Novels.

They grab your attention and make you love them. They are simple and wonderful and I enjoy reading them over and over again. They may not be an Epic Poem like Beowulf or literary genius, but I really enjoy the books and would absolutely recommend these books to a lot of my friends.

First, I love Richelle Mead. I read her Vampire Academy books and was just blown away by them and the Bloodlines series is just as good. The Golden Lily is really good, I just love everything about the book. This review is probably not very helpful but I'm not really good at these review things...ha ha. Pretty much bottom line it's a great book and if you like supernatural stuff you'll like this book.

I enjoyed reading this book. It has suspense and mystery along with some romance. I enjoyed the Vampire Academy so naturally I went into the Bloodlines series and I am really enjoying this series as well.

Characters make the story and so does the little things. This book is a page turner, I'm assuming since you're looking into this book you've already read the first book. The story seems to drag because you get so entrapped with the characters that you hardly care about the story where they don't play a major role. I loved this book and cannot wait to get book three

Oh my freaking god. That ending was pure amazing. I needed that. I got butterflies fluttering in my stomach. I break out in a huge grin. I love the ending immensely. The couples. They are also amazing. And i ship Sydney and Adrian more than i shipped Dimitri and Rose, and that's a lot to ship. I love them so much.

I really wish that the next book was already here. Although I have read lots of mixed reviews on this book, I believe it was written very well for a young adult series. The new addition of the Hunters will bring in more "history" into the series, as I feel that there just was not enough explination on the alchemists in the former series.

If you have read her other book series Vampire Academy you will snag to read this series. You get to see.characters from the other series.and its great. I really recommend this nook and all the others in this series.

I enjoyed Sidney's role in the Vampire Academy series and this book is an expansion of her life. Having some of the charactors from the VA series, makes it feel like a continuation, but a new one, not a dragged out series. The angst she has over how she grew up and how she is realizing people are indivuals and don't all fit into a box is exciting. I can't wait to see how it evolves. The action is good and if you loved VA, you will love this series!

The writing isn't exactly college level, but the storyline is immersive and engaging. A great book if you like teen fiction or romantic fiction, but it won't really challenge most people on an intellectual level.

I gave it this rating because I love this book!!! I'm so happy that Sage finally got to feel something! Not just look at it by facts and cause and effect. I love the writing style of Richelle Mead!!! I so fall into the stories and feel every emotion that she is trying to set off. The fear the strength the love the betrayal the everything. I want to say thank you so much for letting us readers enjoy a little or lot of your mind heart and soul in these books. Thank you!!!!

The first Bloodlines Novel was good; and Mead had to develop Sydney's character. ...but it meant the first book was a bit slow. I really really enjoyed this book. Great story. The reader grows attached to the characters; I sure was! Go Adrian... and for goodness sake, Sydney, WAKE UP

To quote my granddaughter, "this is the best book since Bloodlines." She has read the book twice since she received it and will probably read it several more times. When she loves a book or series she will read them over and over.

I have to say, I love anything written by Richelle Mead. I started reading her series, The Vampire Academy, and I could not resist this series. Sidney's story has always been very intriguing and Richelle did not disappoint with this series continuing her story.

I recommend this book to anyone who loves vampires, romance, and or Richelle Mead.

If you haven't read vampire academy, I advise that you do before you read this series. It will help you understand what they are talking about.

In general, both series are wonderful. Both teens and adults will love them.

If you are familiar with Richelle Mead's novels, this one will not disappoint. Parts of it move kind of slow, and have nothing to do with the story such as a trip to a windmill museum and all it does is try to promote the "green movement". This was inappropriate and did not belong in this book. Other than that, the action was great and sets the stage for a possible romance in later books. Can hardly wait to see what Richelle Mead has in store for Jill, Adrian, Sydney, and Eddie.
