I love Richelle Mead and all things related to the world from the Vampire Academy series, so I couldn't force myself to give this less than five stars. That said, I felt like The Indigo Spell really slogged along at times. Nonetheless, the ending gave me hope for the next installment to be a little more engaging.

As with every Richelle Mead book, I found myself waiting impatiently for the release of the Indigo Spell. And as always, it was worth the wait. I find myself wishing that I could be best friends with Ms. Mead, if only so I could tell her how much I love her writing and characters while simultaneously berating her for writing yet another type of cliff hanger. And so it begins again, my impatience until the next book...

Oh sweet mother of all bookalicious love! Mead has put total epicness into The Indigo Spell! This is the third novel in the Bloodlines series and delivers everything that you could ask for.
In The Golden Lily I was left crushed with the ending and this book certainly makes up for it. We get to see Sydney slowly come out of her protective shell and experience new things (for her anyway). I want to keep things short, as not to spoil anything.
I was left in shock by some of the decisions that Sydney chose to make along the way. She has decided to go against so much that she believes in. So much that has been taught to her. As she works on her magic skills, struggles to continue keeping the Moroi princess Jill safe, and live her life, Marcus Finch steps into play. Marcus begins teaching her things that have been kept hidden. Things she should've knew about. And we certainly can't forget about dearest Adrian...

The Indigo Spell is Riveting from beginning to end. There are moments that will make your Jaw drop. There's romance and danger. You'll definitely become enraptured in the book from page one. You won't want to put it down. I loved the aspects of mystery and the Cliffhangers at the end of each chapter. The Indigo Spell is an Amazing Book written by an Amazing Author.

Once again I love revisiting Richelle's vampire world. I started reading VA when I was in high school and I'm now in my mid-twenties and still can't stop getting sucked in to every book. I can't wait for more!

The only problem I have with Indigo Spells is the price for the Kindle. I know the authorhas no control over price but, there is no reason why electric version is more than paperback. I love the book and can't wait for the next one just hoping the price will be better.

If you loved all six Vampire Academy books, then you are sure to love this series. I always felt sorry for Adrian, being the underdog in the Rose-Dimitri-Adrian love triangle, but Adrian might finally come out on top in this amazing Bloodlines series! I loved the first two books of this series, Richelle Mead does a great job, but I have to say the Indigo Spell is by far my favorite of the series!! If you love Adrian and his sarcastic comments, you are sure to love this! I was not disappointed!

Honestly I think I may love this series more than the original. Of course I'm biased because I'm a nerd who is also a chemist so the alchemical aspects are exciting to me and I love seeing the characters develop and change. Another hit from miss mead!

I loved the Vampire Academy Series and so glad that she continued with the Bloodlines Series. I have them all and have let family and friends borrow them. They have even been to Indiana and back to Maryland.

The author has created a suspense filled extension of the Bloodline novel set. Internally consistent, but complicated plot and likable multi-dimensional characters must adjust to each other and the ever changing plot as the novel unfolds. An enjoyable read.

I loved Vampire Academy and liked Bloodlines until this book. I loved The Indigo Spell. Everything is coming together and the storyline is very strong. I couldn't put my Kindle down and was sorry when it ended. Can't wait until the next book comes out!!

the indigo spell is absolutly amazing! Sydney and Adriane's love each other continues to grow. Even though their love is forbitten they can't seem to help themselves. Durring the story Sydney meets Marcus , a rebel alchemist who tries to help her break free but can she really leave behind everything and everyone???

A really fun and exciting read! The romance is to die for, as is Adrian Ivashkov. Suspense is littered all over this book, which made it hard to put down. And as usual, Richelle Mead has a knack for making me laugh. Loved it!

I've always loves stories with characters who seem to come alive on the pages, and there are a limited number of authors that can achieve this to me. This series of books contains a complete cast of interesting characters who all have fully-fleshed personalities and the situations in which they find themselves are interesting and easy to keep following along. Can't wait to see where this may go in the future (I hope!).

I've been following the Bloodlines novels after I read the Vampire Academy series and I fell in love with all of the characters. I can't wait until The Fiery Heart comes out on November 19th. I'm so happy that Adrian finally got his girl!!!

The books definitely make you wonder which path the author will choose to go. The downside is I'm constantly predicting what's going to happen and unfortunately I'm usually right. There were a few things that really caught me off guard but I don't want to spoil anything. I'm really looking forward to starting the next book. In my opinion the golden lily did a much better job at keeping my utmost attention, though I certainly never put this book down.

I absolutely love these books. If she could pump them out any faster I would eat them up even twice as fast. I liked the first book but once I really got into the story i totally fell in love. I seriously still have a book hangover. Wishing the next one (after fiery heart) was ready because damn does she leave you hanging at the end. I know I know, masterpieces take time. Wait I shall. Cheers to Richelle I owe ya a beer for keeping me so entertained.

This book was amazing. One of my all time favorites for all the twist that keep you guessing till the end. The ending really threw me for a loop, can't wait for the next one to see what's going to happen next. So excited!

I completely loved this book. The whole Sydrian relationship of bantering and so forth was awesome. Some things did drive me a bit nuts. For example Sydney's constant indecision towards Adrian. BUT it's understandable since it being completely wrong is the only thing she knows. I love that she learns to embrace her magical abilities. It definitely moved at a much faster pace than the previous book. And I absolutely can not wait until Fiery Heart comes out in November! Yay!

I have to say, I love anything written by Richelle Mead. I started reading her series, The Vampire Academy, and I could not resist this series. Sidney's story has always been very intriguing and Richelle did not disappoint with this series continuing her story.
