Couldn't put it down! The storyline is amazing and the character very realistic. I personally like how both men are women in this series are portrayed with enough complexity to avoid the easy male/female binary.

Finished 3 at lunch, bought 4 and did something I haven't done since I was 11 years old and discovered GWTW: stayed up the majority of the night reading non-stop... Felt like I was in a desert and couldn't drink water fast enough. Devoured it - brilliantly written, twists and turns throughout the book. I hate Bernard even worse now - 24 hours later. Hugh needs to go to his room, lock the door, order in food, and finish Wool 5!!!! Please.....

the suspense was killing me! And the characters were nice and full. That series is a lot of reading, but I was eager to do that because the story was so intriguing. He is a real artist with a talented writer. I started his books beause my son had liked them, and my son has very good taste.

With Wool 4, Hugh Howey hits readers fast, frequently, and hard with story developments well-grounded in his established context. The action is tense and you'll find yourself rooting for the good guys. In fact, you'll probably lap this up so quickly that you wont even notice that this novella is longer than the previous works.

Wool 1 was entertaining enough for me to continue along. Wool 2 led me into a story that was so imaginable that I felt like one of the characters. I felt as if I couldnt consume the words fast enough. Needless to say, I just finished 4 and I don't know if I can wait for 5. These are MUST reads for anyone who is even trying to decide about these books. Thanks Hugh...keep writing!!!!!

This series is exceptional ....except for this book. All it does is talk about Juliette fixing some generator for purposes unknown and unimportant. Oh it also talks about her WEAK WEAK willed boy interest and how easily manipulated he is by the villan Bernard. I couldn't make it through this book. I didn't care anymore or even like any of the characters. The story was boring and went nowhere. Maybe it picked up after 50% but I couldn't go any further because like I said I didn't care if they all died. I'm pissed because I invested time reading the first four books only to be sorely let down in the finale. I can not grasp how anyone could think this is a 5 or 4 star book.

What started in Wool and the questions you had about the people and events are starting to be answered. If you are going to read any of these books make sure you have a afternoon or an entire day free. I finished all five in about a week.

Have read them all... Provided an unique prospective of how we could be leaving. Read all the previous Wool book and found the content to be true to a theme. I haven't read sci-fi (however this is very believable. Got to say they all keep you on edge, couldn't put them down!

Oooh, that Bernard! Easily as exciting as the previous three, Wool 4 reveals to the reader even more of the truths and untruths behind life in the silo. Tension builds between IT and Mechanical, and Juliette's path takes an unexpected turn. I am on the edge of my seat for the conclusion to this story. Keep up the good work, Howey!

I have really enjoyed these books, the writer has created a world in which you can picture yourself in and characters that you will become invesred in and not be able to wait to see what is next, you will be on the edge of your seat. I can not wait to read Shift and Dust. Very well writen.

Totally enjoyed this entry into the Wool series. When I bought Wool 1 for a bargain price, I did not expect much. I was pleasantly surprise and happy that Hugh has continued with the series. Great reads.

Like many others, this installment of wool kept me up at night. Kept me hanging on. The shit really hits the fan. The mystery around the Silo is slowly unraveled, just like the name. Truly a page turner.
