Darcy and Logan are perfect for each other. They just don’t know it when they meet. Darcy questions everything about Logan, assuming he’s a rich, entitled, royal who is selfish and doesn’t care about people in the village he moves to. He flies in on his helicopter, unaware how the noise affects Darcy and others. Logan thinks Darcy is uptight and looking for a husband, something he has no intention of being. Luckily, his grandmother sees the truth before Logan does and helps point him in the right direction. A beautiful love story with great characters and strong women!

New favorite book by Louise Bay!
She always write the sweetest love stories. Always creating swoon worthy characters.
This book totally gave me Jane Austen feels. The countryside setting. The Characters. At times Darcy reminded me of Mr. Darcy from Pride and Prejudice. What I adored most about her was how witty she was. How strongly she believed in her values. Logan Steele was sexy and charming. He and Darcy were fun and flirty. I definitely loved the push & pull between the two. I didn't want their story to end.

My new Bay fav!
I absolutely adored Darcy and Logan from the very beginning. And the friction that the enemies to lovers storyline creates builds on the sexual and emotional tension between the two.
My favorite character though, is Granny (Mrs. Steele). She's such a busy body matchmaker full of mischief and a twinkle in her eye. I love her.
Seriously though, enemies to lovers creates this delicious love/hate, hate/love world of will they/won't they... it's fascinating and keeps you on the edge.

3 Crazy Ass Stars!!!
Bummer, I really wanted to like this but there was just something that held me back from really getting into it. It all started with how Logan was in the beginning. He was a pig. And then he does a complete 180 and is a total different person when he's out at the estate he purchased. His character just wasn't consistent. He was just a little wishy-washy for me.
There were a few times I laughed and swooned a bit. Overall, I was entertained and never felt like I couldn't finish the book.

The first time Darcy met Logan she was outdoors and somewhat covered in mud. Not a thrilling way to meet a handsome stranger for the first time! Logan and Darcy are opposites. While shes kind hearted and a romantic who loves the concept of family, Logan is rich, powerful, arrogant, bossy and he gets what he sets his eyes on. But i guess that makes him all the more appealing and sexy!!...
I loved the ending of this perfect story and i liked the way these two fit...i also loved Logans grandmother.

Logan and Darcy are my newest favorite couple in this stand-alone series! Stubborn, intense, and totally suitable for each other, this couple rocked my world!
Easy peasy, right? Not even. Secrets will nearly destroy this dynamic couple. I swear humans will ruin a good thing! But as always good conquers evil.
Louise is definitely my go to author for my rare CR fix! The Earl of London is definitely a gripping and beautifully written story!

Super cute book! I loved the characters! I loved the chemistry Darcy and Logan had! I found myself smiling so much through out this book! I’m a huge fan of banter so this was right up my ally!
If you like a feisty, tell it how it is and caring female then Darcy is for you! If you like a goes after what he wants, says all the right things, is tall and hot then Logan is for you!
And if you like all that wrapped up in a good story then this book is totally for you!

This was a very interesting story, it had so many dynamics, and made you always guessing what will happen. I loved how the author dealt with everything, and written this amazingly.
I loved Darcy, she is independent, sassy and snarky. She fights for what she wants, and won't let anyone divert her.
I loved Logan, he is alpha male, hard headed and determined. He is a workaholic, but has time for his family.
I loved this book, and recommend it. Wtmo

Definitely another Louise Bay masterpiece! I was so immersed in the story that I kept telling myself just one more chapter, just one more until the very end. Darcy and Logan's story was one I just couldn't put down because it was filled with witty banter and combustible chemistry. If you love strong-willed heroines and domineering heroes then you will be captivated by Darcy and Logan! I was provide a coy of my honest opinion and this is it.

I absolutely loved Logan and Darcy. When love unexpectedly creeps up on two people who aren’t looking for it always makes for a great story. Darcy was fierce and independent while
Logan was a strong alpha male with the right bit of tenderness. These two were made for each other. From their initial meeting to all the issues they faced, their story will have you eager to be in their world and want more.

There are times Darcy gets tongue-tied trying to find the right words when describing Logan, “he was…” Domineering and controlling and had effed me like it was his job. “Clearly experienced.” Darcy's compliments to Logan are always unique, "...I hadn’t made that apple pie, I’d be climbing you like a tree right now.” I liked this book, I loved Logan and I loved Darcy she was a feisty one.

Agh! Darcy finally got her HEA! The story was sweet and spicy and completely enjoyable in Louise’s unique way. I loved the characters and enjoyed watching them work through their individual fears. Logan tried to keep his tough exterior, but Darcy managed to squeeze in and hold a place in his heart just like his granny. Can’t wait to see more of these characters in future books!

I’ve been patiently waiting for Darcy’s story and couldn’t be happier with how it was told. Louise is a literary spellbinder with her words. I was sucked in from the first page and couldn’t put it down until I got to the end. And Logan... oh Logan. Just wait until you meet him! You need this book (and all the others) in your life. Would definitely recommend!

I found this read truly delightful. With a wonderful blend of heat, heart, drama and steam, you will quickly find yourself swept into Darcy and Logan's romance. Plenty of sparks and witty barbs flying between these two only add to the very engaging appeal of this book. A great read! I'm voluntarily posting an honest review.

Finally Darcy 's book is out!! The Dark of London was a great read. Darcy Westbury has been taking care of her family's estate most of her adult life especially after her grandfather, the Duke of Fairfax, passed away. Woolton Hall has been her sanctuary since she was 5 only leaving to go to University. Darcy loves the quiet village life and has focused on improving and maintaining their quiet, close knit community.
Logan Steele is a self made billionaire who has no time for relationships, the only family he has is his grandmother. Logan has worked his entire life to make sure he never disappointed her, she gave everything up for him when he was little and he vowed to get it back for her. Badsley House was his grandmother's family home and it has come up for sale!! Buying it back for her was never a question she belonged there.
Logan and Darcy are both independent and strong willed which makes for some fireworks!!

This might sound silly, but Louise Bay manages to sweep me off my feet with her words. Her books are richly detailed, the characters and dialogue are sexy and fun. There's so much to love!
In the Earl of London, Logan and Darcy are perfectly matched...until they find themselves on opposing sides of an important issue. Logan is a classic romance hero...outrageously sexy, a bit broody, dominant in all the good ways, and able to bend when needed. Darcy is smart and sassy, beautiful inside and out...and vulnerable when her heart is involved. Man, this story is emotional!
From beginning to end, I was hooked! Ms Bay has created a wonderful world with her Earls and Dukes and Princes, and I can't wait for more! 5 stars for the Earl and his Lady!

Great read. I loved Logan and Darcy. So practical. I love that she stood for what she believed and fought him on his business. I loved the arrogance and stubbornness of these two characters and when they get together they ignite. Great steamy read. I love this author.

Darcy & Logan
I truly fell in love with these characters and the people that live in their world. Darcy is a strong, independent English woman. She takes great pride in family, history, and heritage. She doesn't need a man but yes it would be nice to have someone to share her life with. The moment that she sees Logan from across the grounds she can not look away. He is beyond handsome with his square jaw line, tall and muscular but lean with such a swagger that she can not look away. When their eyes meet yes it is an immediate attraction with an air of mystery!
Logan is a smart, handsome savvy business man that holds his grandmother with great respect and regard. He has finally purchased a home in the countryside with a sprawling landscape to give to the woman who raised him. He feels that he has finally given her everything that she could ever want. Although his grandmother would love so much more, things that money can just not buy.
Darcy shall we say is not anyone that he would think he needs and wants. She surprises him at every turn. She nothing like the women he dates. She is so sassy, strong willed, opinionated with such a natural beauty and presence. He has never found this appealing until now! They may have an immediate attraction but once Darcy finds out what Logan intents to use the land surrounding his estate the gloves come off and she will fight him tooth and nail. There is a fine line in Love and War and they may just fall across it!!

I love the regal – majestic – feeling a Louise Bay romance provides. It’s like getting lost not only in a different world, but a different time as well – even though that’s not the case. I saw her being compared to Jane Austen somewhere, and, yeah, that sentiment rings true to me as well. Even the name of the heroine – Darcy – fits that picture, as well as her love and devotion for her little village.
And there’s more that intensifies that feeling and plays its own part in the magnificence that is this story: the setting on the countryside close to London, the storyline about a wealthy and insanely sexy and charming entrepreneur from the city, who knows what he wants is not taking root and having a family, and the lady from the countryside, who is running the estate for her brother – not out of obligation, but more out of passion. Now that a new neighbor is moving in next door – a man known to be a ruthless businessman who destroys companies for a profit, she is more than a little wary about what this will mean for her village, which has been her sanctuary for as long as she can remember…
Darcy is resilient, a force to be reckoned with when it comes to her home. She will not shy away from anything to avert the danger that this new neighbor poses the most wonderful place she has ever known.
And Logan – yes, he is used to getting what he wants, and more than confident about that, determined, too, but he is not ruthless. As Darcy has to discover, he is easy to talk to and quite a charmer – still with that hard edge to his character that hints that he is not without faults, either, jaded by his own upbringing.
Two people so different, who get along quite well personally, but whose business interests couldn’t clash more. Still, the sparks that fly between them from the minute they first met cannot be denied. They have a long journey ahead of themselves – Darcy has to overcome her aversion to an outsider of the village, whereas Logan has to deal with his upbringing and his self-centered tendencies. They scream, they fight, they flirt and kiss and, in Logan’s case, become all kidnapper-y caveman-style, then make up again. Watching them slowly but inevitably fall for one another was everything and more!
Intense chemistry, a couple of misunderstandings, beautiful relatable characters delivered in a wonderful writing-style that make the pages fly by. Sigh.

Another great book from Louise Bay in this series, bringing us this time 'The Earl of London'. This book is a complete standalone and a very enjoyable read. As someone who has read the rest of Louise's books I was pleased that Darcey was getting her (hopefully) HEA.
When Logan Steele finally gets the chance to purchase a house in the country that his family once owned, in order to settle his Grandmother there he jumps at the chance. But he also has grand ideas, ideas to develop the land and prove himself not only to those around him but also to himself.
Darcy Westbury's home and grounds backs on to his, and soon these two come to wars! It's a battle of wills as both characters are strong independent people. Logan is used to getting what he wants, a powerful businessman in the boardroom, yet when he is in the country and around Darcy there is a definite softness to him which I liked.
However Darcey is full of strength, and is a great match for Logan, giving back what he deserves and determined to stand up for what she believes in. When Logan submits planning to make changes to the village that is everything to Darcy, nothing will stand in her way to ensure it doesn't go through!
But the problem is Darcy and Logan have some pretty intense attraction and chemistry towards one another!! Could this be the start of something special, or are their opposing opinions going to get in the way?
This was a really enjoyable book and Louise Bay is a definitely one of my favourite go to authors, but I do have to say that there was something missing for me. I think it just lacked a little bit of the tension and angst I had hoped for and found it to be a little predictable compared to some. However still a story I would recommend as with all the connecting books!

The Earl of London is a gorgeous story, beautifully written and I enjoyed every swoony moment of it.
The beautiful English countryside comes alive between the pages of this book. Ms Bay’s talented writing conjures up such imagery that I could almost feel the fresh air on my face and the grass between my toes. Logan is a hard nosed businessman, single minded and ruthless when it comes to dealing with work related issues. However, there’s a softer side to him which quickly becomes apparent once his grandmother enters the picture. He’s become a firm favourite of mine when it comes to book boyfriends, even if I did want to kick his backside on occasions! Darcy is a delight. Strong, loyal and surprisingly down to earth, there are no artificial airs and graces about her. I loved her straightforwardness and her humour and the way she stuck to her guns without coming across as a hard nosed shrew! The chemistry between these two is hot but it’s a slow burn, which allows us to see their friendship and relationship develop. There’s a great cast of supporting characters too, which, together with picturesque descriptions of the English landscape, create a wonderful backdrop to life in the country. If you enjoy losing yourself amongst the pages of a classy, yet steamy, romance, then this is the one for you.

Louise Bay gives us an utterly fantastic story that gives us this old world type of feel. Darcy is like a total girl crush material. She’s incredibly funny and completely adorable. I loved the male character, Logan, but Darcy stole the show. She’s this sweet and open woman who is just passing out prices of her heart. Logan is similar but a bit more aloof but still approachable. These characters are just plain lovely... including the secondary characters. I love meeting up with characters from the previous books.
I adore that even though Darcy wears her heart on her sleeve, she doesn’t just hand it over. She’s proud and hard-headed. She makes you work for it. I appreciate the strength she shows. These two has this lively dynamic between them. The banter and playfulness warms my heart. They definitely had this push and pull thing happening in the beginning that made me smile and giggle at them. It was like this power struggle when they end up complimenting each other so well. It’s a delightfully light story that has enough charge to it to keep you sighing and laughing! Ms. Bay’s writing is fantastic... I stayed deeply rooted into The Earl of London’s pages. The storyline has this upward flow that steadily kept me into the book.

The Earl of London is a beautiful, unputdownable romance with that special Louise Bay touch that only makes it better.
This was a delicious enemies-to-lovers story made only better by the amazing lead characters. Darcy is an amazing heroine. She’s caring, strong, and force to be reckoned with. A solid woman who’s wit and sass challenges Logan and he can’t help but fall for. On to Logan. The man had me at hello! Persistent and driven without being arrogant, he exudes charm and confidence that’s impossible to resist. Together their chemistry is electric, their banter is spot on, and their steam factor is sky high. Dare I say explosive! They had me devouring the story nearly at light speed to find out what would happen between them.
Once again Louise Bay delivers another exquisitely written romance that had me hanging on every word. Captivating is an understatement! Ms. Bay’s novels are nothing if not addictive, sexy, real, and utterly romantic. True modern-day fairytales that leave readers feeling like their hero might leap out of the pages and whisk them away at any second. 5 Stars.

I love Louise Bay’s strong, memorable heroes, and Logan Steele might be my favorite yet. He’s charming, wry and sexy, and — be still my heart — he adores his grandmother and will do anything for her. He buys back her family’s country estate outside of London, and he spends his weekends there with her, which is where he meets her new neighbor, Darcy. He and Darcy have instant chemistry but different lifestyles, and their dissimilarities become apparent when Logan announces his plan to develop a portion of his grandmother’s land. Darcy wants to protect the quaint village atmosphere and sets out to thwart his efforts, and they engage in a fiery clash of wills with sharp, witty verbal sparring that pulsates with sexual tension. The Earl of London is an engaging, passionate and sophisticated romance between two well-matched rivals who find it’s much more satisfying to lose a battle in order to win at love.

Louise Bay never disappoints with her writing and characters, and The Earl of London is no exception. I loved this story and something about it made me think of the historical greats that it could easily have been, maybe it was the name Darcy but I think it was the talk of estates and the English country set too.
Darcy and Logan's story was a joy to read, full of all you could ask for, hot characters, a great push and pull story as attraction is marred by concequences and misunderstandings. The banter between the two had me chuckling and the sex scenes fanning myself.
Darcy was a great lead, fiesty, independent and ready to stand up for what was important to her especially her village and when the hot stranger arrives with his city ways, attraction be damned, Darcy comes out fighting.
As always with Louises books there were previous characters popping up but this is very much a stand alone read. I loved the side characters in this story especially Logan's grandmother. Definitely one you don't want to miss.

PERFECTION!!! Darcy's story was everything I had hoped it would be and so much more!! From the moment you meet Darcy in the "Duke of Manhattan," you know right away that she is a fiercely independent, strong, loyal, and loving woman and Louise Bay brought her character to life for me and Darcy deserved to have her happily ever after.
At first meeting Logan you know right away how highhanded his ego is and you know right away that Darcy is going to be this force of nature that knocks Logan right off his feet.
Their story is a rocky journey and even though they are both completely and utterly stubborn they have an undeniable chemistry that you know could ignite fires like magic. What I love most about their growing passion is how Darcy isn't afraid to speak her mind and be completely blunt with Logan and Logan doesn't know how to handle a woman like Darcy. It's a match made in a small little village!
Thank You Louise for another amazing, 5 Star read!!!

This book was so good. I absolutely loved Darcy. She was a little spitfire. I loved that she never acted like she was rich and didn’t have to do anything. She was always busy with someone or something.
It took me some time to really like Logan but once I did, I just loved him. Darcy really knew how to handle Logan and she didn’t let him get away with anything. Their back and forth banter was really good.
I loved how their relationship developed. It just started as them hooking up a bit but slowly developed into something more. There were a couple of speed bumps along the way but I actually loved how they were handled.
This is definitely one of my favorites by Louise Bay. Very well done.

Logan doesn't realize he's looking for peace until he finds himself in the one place he never thought he would ever acquire his family's home. Now here and walking the grounds seeing everything that his memories of stories have told him hes at peace. Until someone stumbles into his life and it's about to change he's just not sure if it's for the good or the bad. Darcy loves her town and will do everything she can't to preserve it. Even if that means going head to head with the one man who makes her heart flutter. Now these two are not only at odd's with one another, but they both have the hots for each other. When Logan makes a decision that makes Darcy want to strangle him can they move past it all?

Twist on a historical romance. I loved how Darcy and Logan were the perfect match for eachother. They are the yang to the yang. Their stubborn personalities may just be their downfall. The writing hooks you from the beginning and you can't help but love the characters. Darcy shows how stubborn she can be but also loves with all her heart. Logan has a steel wall up which may just take all of Darcy's strength to show him how to love. I recommend you pickup a copy and enjoy it as much as I do.

A beautiful story that took my by surprise! I absolutely adored Darcys strong will and independence! Though at times I wanted to ring her neck I still loved her tenacity and her strong will! She definitely didn’t let Logan get away with his charm and called him out on his BS!
I found it charming how these two were polar opposites yet their convictions and values, the things that made them who they are, were the same! I think it was those similarities that spoke to the other person!

This was a sweet sexy angsty beautiful read about Darcy and Logan. Loved their interaction and banter. The push and pull was hilarious and worth the journey they went thru. The twists and turns kept me on the edge of my seat. I couldn't stop reading until I finished this thrilling sexy heart wrenching story. The sexy times were super hot and so deliciously naughty. Loved this beautiful story and I can't wait to read more by Louise Bay.

This author never ceases to amaze me!!! Yet another fantastic book. Great story line with strong characters. Darcy fights to keep her village untouched by developers. Logan fights to fall in love and have a family and so the tangled web begins.

I thoroughly enjoyed Logan and Darcy’s story. They kept each other on their toes and the banter between them is both fun and insightful. They openly admit to wanting something more in their lives and while there are many similarities between them, there are just as many differences. I liked the time they spent together, getting to know one another; they were building a solid relationship foundation.
The Earl of London really does tick all the romance book boxes: the setting, the characters, the story and the happy ever after. Highly recommend.

Bay does not disappoint with Darcy's story in the world of Duke of Manhattan and King of Wall Street. I enjoyed all of these books and this one was no different. Bay is able to write a sweet story that still has plenty of sexy times.

Darcy and Logan will be butting their heads all the way straight to an HEA! Darcy fiercely loves a few things in her life - Woolton, her family, and tradition. These passions tended to be all consuming for her and leave little time for much else. When she meets her newest neighbor she is thrown by his charm and features until she learns of his dastardly plans to come in and change everything she holds dear. Logan has toiled for years to right the sins of his father and prove his own name in the world. When a chance to right a supreme arises he takes its and ends up neighbor to the fiery and fantastic Darcy who both bewitches and beguiles him. She is an opponent like he’s never had before and frankly he feels like he is going down for the count where she is concerned.
I voluntarily read an reader copy of this book.

It’s lovely going back to the English countryside. I’m so happy that Louise Bay wanted to continue the saga of the Westburys. We get to know Darcy Westbury better and why she has such a connection to the Woolton Estate. She is hardworking, loves her family, and wants to keep things just as they are. But deep down she is lonely, wishing she could share her life with someone and have her own family. But things start to get very interesting when Badsley House is sold and she meets her new neighbor, Logan Steele! Not only to sparks fly, but so do the tempers. You are going to love The Earl of London! Any book that has Louise Bay as the author will be a smash! I give this book a 10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

REceived in exchange for a honest review.
Louise Bay is addictive to read. She writes characters that have dimension and aren’t as they seem. They are multi-faceted and ones that as they fall in love they are discovered by their partners as more than they originally thought. They grow and discover themselves as well. Louise Bay gives us witty banter. Entertaining and lovable characters, romance that is sexy and a story that you just curl up and lose yourself in.
Here we have Logan and Darcy. We get both POVs and Logan’s is the one I love the most. He is kind and gentle. Loving and sweet while also being very smart and savvy. He is out to not only show the world that you can’t keep him down but to thank his grandmother for all she has done for him. She gave up so much and his goal is to give it back and than some. His relationship with his grandmother is precious and beautiful-we really get to see Logan in a different light through this relationship.
Darcy is stubborn and strong. She judges Logan before getting to know him but you know that her past has influenced her views on him. She is very smart and kind but judgemental as well. I didn’t like how she was about her feelings and relationship with Logan. She makes him a secret and that was a wee bit hard to swallow.
The two together give us some entertaining moments, witty banter, sexy times and sweet tenderness. They don’t hold back with one another and challenge the other to come out of their comfort zones. IN this area Logan does better than Darcy.
A wonderful love story where we see that you can’t judge a book by its cover and see love and loyalty shine through.
