Really liked Zane and Lucky's story. The erotic scenes were a little tame but the original story line was more than interesting. I was disappointed to find there is another follow up book. It seems now a days you can't just buy one book and end the story. This book is good enough that I will purchase the second one though. Recommend this book

Such a great story. I was hooked from the beginning. Lucky & Zane will draw you in. Lucky tries to stick by her rules she set for herself however trying to resist Zane when he charms her makes it difficult.

Well worth the read. Look forward to reading the next book

I loved this story. I loved that the characters Zane and Lucky have a real relationship and not just a totally made up fairy tale.Lucky is a real person with real issues and Zane is working through stuff. I can read this story over and over again. LOVED IT!!!!!!

Where to begin??? I was incredibly unhappy with this book. Just when I started to get into it, it got all weird and rushed and cheesy. And what 22yr old says stuff like "I will my love" and "my dear"? Idk...it just didn't flow well. So glad I caught it on sale. Not sure if I'll be reading the 2nd one.

Same story line as every other romance novel. Innocent naive girl falls in love with the rich bad boy bla bla bla. We've heard it all before. I generally don't mind reading a similar story line to others if the author makes it their own but THIS? Oh no no no. I send samples to my kindle before buying a book to get a taste of what I'm reading, and I liked the beginning of the book. But the book was choppy and progressed to fast. I found myself getting frustrated with the main female character in the novel, I found her hard to relate too. She had no back bone, she claims to have all of these "last boyfriend" beliefs but quickly falls into bed with the main male character without any hesitation. She was also really fickle. She really liked Braydon one minute and then the next he was annoying her. There was something off about Braydon.... But he was such a lovely guy? Make up your mind woman!! The main male character, Zane, he has a split personality that I'm not to fond of. The author doesn't develop his character enough, so I found his over protectiveness completely unnecessary- if not a little creepy -considering that he didn't really know Lucky at all. Thier romance progressed WAAAAAY to quickly and was too unrealistic. Had the potential to be a good book, but fell flat.

I thought this book was cute and I really enjoyed reading it. It has the same theme of a lot of books written today, poor girl meets rich guy and they fall in love. There are twists in this book that make the story stand out, which I enjoyed. I liked it enough to read "The last Husband".

I loved the writing style of this book. The words flowed smoothly from the page, they transgress into each other. The character's was easily believable and very likeable. Even the ones you're meant to hate. I was drawn into them and felt what they felt, cried when they cried, laughed when they laughed, i felt their pain, the pain of loss, of being abandoned. I love it when i'm drawn into the book. There was twists and turns, some a little expected, others not so much. A very very enjoyable read. Looking forward to reading the sequel.

I really enjoyed this book. I enjoyed the little twist and turns in the book. I'm glad the story had the 2 male characters, so you could root for your favorite. I'm glad it turned out the way it did in the end. I'm excited for the next book.

What an emotional ride this story takes you on. Lucky is a waitress and student who has been waiting on sexy Zane and his dates every Friday night when they come into the diner where she works. Seeing him every week with a different date tells her he's a player and not boyfriend material. But one night at a party changes everything and next thing Lucky knows she's Zane' s assistant and moving away. Still she knows she can't give him her heart because there's still so many secrets he's hiding.
Such a great love story, that had you waiting for what's next. What are Zane' s secrets and can hru really be Lucky' s last boyfriend. A great story about taking a chance on love and opening your heart.

Lucky needs forever love...Zane needs "for now" love, or so he thinks!! Or so I thought when I started this story...
As I read I found myself engrossed..couldn't put it down and now I HAVE to read the sequel...

Well lately Trilogy books have fallen and I'm finding myself just not making through the second book or just not reading it! So I'm happy to say I'm looking forward to Zane and lucky try to make a relationship around what's coming there way.

I read the sample & the bought the book thinking it would go somewhere good but it didn't. I added a star b/c I didn't quit mid-way I did read the entire thing but after I was honestly shocked about the good reviews.

Some spoilers but honestly I'm giving it two stars so if you want to know why:

Lucky - the main character. Seems like a total idiot who is incapable of making good decisions. She ditches school [and her life, home, job etc.] without knowing ANYTHING about the job she is taking such as how much it even pays! She has these rules yet moves in with some guy she only knows from watching him go on dates? Seriously? She makes about 90 other ridiculously stupid decisions as well but they are all along those lines.

Suitor #2 - the "actor" - I already forgot his name...apparently he's the next Leo DiCaprio yet doesn't make any money acting so he has to sell drugs...and not like pot but like PCP/Angel dust?? What famous actor at the top of his game do you know that could get away with selling hard core drugs?!?! He was also utterly one dimensional - absolutely no depth what so ever. He's supposed to be great but over a sandwich argument or something that stupid he turns into a psychopath int he middle of the afternoon? He is a huge actor but wants to marry this chick 5 minutes after meeting her? Completely over the top ridiculous.

Main hero - wow...let's use that term super super loosely. Like not at all...he doesn't even defend her to some snooty b*tch like a day before he suddenly tells her he's madly in love with her... I get these books where the guy can't love the girl, says it to her face again & again & then suddenly loves her..blah blah blah. To make this premise work, you have to make it believable and since he doesn't even care about her enough to defend her, why would we believe he even likes her? Makes NO sense. No chemistry what so ever.

Honestly, I'm annoyed a I wasted money on buying this and time reading it. Not worth $4.

I really liked this book. It was heartwarming. The redaction is nice and it's easy to read. I did get annoyed by some characters, which I oddly liked, because I felt attached to characters even when the book felt so short.
Totally worth reading.

The characters are interesting and the plot was not typical. Some of the love talk was a bit cheesy. I didn't fall in love with the main guy or relate to the main girl as well as some other books. Overall it was an entertaining read and I will read the sequel.

This book started off with good character development, and an overall interesting storyline. Then it went into super speed mode, the main characters changed completely. It was unreal and hard to believe. The book could have been better. Waste of time.

The Characters are not what you expect and so happy to be wrong. Lucky is so set in what she wants and how she is going to get it. Zane is the guy with a new girl every week you just know he is not boyfriend material. Yet you want to know more about him. I was surprised and happy to be. Excellent

This Book Was Just Okay For Me. Nothing Special About It And Extremely Rushed At The End. Everything Important In This Book happenEd In The Last Few Chapters. There Was Really No Excitement About It. I Won't Be Reading The Next In The series.

The explanation of Brayden and Zane was definitely surprising, an unexpected twist. The book was great, actually I read it all in a day; The ending was quick and slightly cheesy...but I'll still probably read the next one, it was cute.
