Voluntary review of ARC. This is the first book I have read by this author and it was amazing. I loved the story line, style and characters. Athena Wright captures you from page one and doesn't let you go until the end. Hard Rock Tease is an easy read that packs a punch.

This is an enjoyable story, with a strong, feisty, damaged woman, and an alpha rock star, damaged also, with trust issues. Their chemistry is off the charts, as evidenced by the over abundance of detailed s3x. Overall, a good story!

A unique twist to the rockstar romance concept, and actually very sweet. Don't get me wrong, the sexy times are hot as can be, and Noah is certainly not always sweet. Jen has just graduated from an exclusive music school, and has an interview with the label her favorite band is signed to. She has had a fangirl crush for years on the lead singer; his haunting lyrics and the pieces of his soul he displays on stage helped her through some of her darkest days. I will admit that, shoving many years of cobwebs aside, I remember a few bands I felt that way about in my teen years.

Imagine her surprise to find out the job she is interviewing for is as a writing partner for the crush himself. Of course, she would be more thrilled if she hadn't just had a very unpleasant run-in with him in the building as she searched for the right office for her interview. These ups and downs continue throughout the book, but, even as unconventional as some scenes may be, overall I do feel that the book has a certain sweetness to it, no matter how hot and cold His Highness may run.

It is definitely an adults only read for explicit sexual situations and language women could find offensive. I won't hesitate to recommend it to my rockstar romance loving girls.

This was the ultimate fangirl/rockstar romance. Noah Hart is the lead singer of the rockband Darkest Days, however he is having trouble composing a new song and recruits the help of Jennifer Young to get new material. Jennifer is the ultimate fangirl, having spent all her youth loving the music of Noah Hart, so when she gets the chance to work with him, she is struggling to keep professional and not let her feelings overcome her. However, when the sexual tension becomes too much and they give in to their growing feelings, you can't help but wonder if broody Noah is only using Jennifer as his sexual muse until they can write their song together. I loved the emotions she pulled from him and how much he struggled with his trust issues. But she kept perservering, knowing that they had built something really special. I recieved an ARC of this for my honest review.

Noah is the lead singer for the rock band Darkest Days. Jen is hired to secretly help Noah write and make the music for his song on the new album. Noah has lots of trusts issues. He spends a lot of time blowing hot and cold on Jen. He's brooding, mysterious, a loner and quite often a jerk.
Jen has her own issues. Everyone things she's extremely talented in both writing music and playing instruments. She is constantly questioning herself, putting herself down and doubtful of any ones praise.
This book had me on an emotion roller coaster. I found myself getting angry one moment at Noah and feeling bad for him the next. Jen had a scene in the book causing me to tear up and I'm in no way a crier. Other times I was yelling at her for letting Noah treat her the way he did. I can't wait to read the next book.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Noah is a musician who has some serious emotional issues that he keeps hidden. Jen is a recent music school grad who is hired to help him (on the sly) write a new song for his band. She is a huge fan of his music and has her own emotional problems. They click in bed which leads to them clicking out of bed, but their issues will get in their way over and over. He has a tendency to lash out and she has very serious self esteem issues. When they are working well, it's explosive and when they're not they are a mess. A great story of two damaged people helping each other find the way to function well.

**I received this ARC in exchange for an voluntary review**

Now the guys from Feral Silence are settled down, our attention is turned to Darkest Days, another band on the same label.

The link to the previous series is kept via Jen, the heroine, whose room-mates are dating two of Feral Silence. Jen prefers Darkest Days, and in thrilled to get an opportunity to work with Noah, the lead singer. She's not so thrilled to discover his personality isn't quite what she imagined.

Lots of chemistry and hot, steamy sex keep the book moving along while they sort themselves out. As a self-confessed fangirl, these books verge into romantic fantasy territory, but that's what makes them fun!

Althena Wright is an amazing author that keeps you riveted with her work. This book had a great storyline with a wonderful set of characters. I requested an advanced reader's copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion. This was a truly emotional and moving book that is sure to touch you. Wonderfully written romance.

There were great moments in this book and moments when I wanted to smack Jen for being so massively irritating. She talks things to death, can stop needling about feelings and opening up, and plays the monumental insecurity card. I swear, if she way my friend or girlfriend, I'd have dropped her after the First day.
83% through the book before she actually stood up for herself. She was exhausting, and hey neediness underlined the story's creditability. No one could endure the amount of need, must less a rock legend.

Sex was still fad to read. Hoping female lead in the the 2nd book isn't as irritating.
