This book is the beginning of an amazing series! I would recommend it to anyone with some free time on there hands. I say free time because one i started reading I couldn't put it down and read a book a day. The characters have awesome personalities and the love, conflict, and mystery in these books is enough to keeps you coming back for more. I don't give spoilers in reviews because then what would be the point of reading the book. Just take my word you will want more!

First book I have read from this author and loved it!! Liked that the female lead stood up for herself and went after her dreams. And finding a sexy rockstar in this process doesn’t hurt either! Can’t wait to read the next one!

After meeting 6 years ago in Chicago Jesse and Lucy meet again. They go their separate ways thinking they will never meet again.
When Lucy is going to be staring in Jesses new music video they reconnect. This time Jesse doesn't want to let her. Can they have a future together or will the rockstar lifestyle too much for them to be a couple

Loved this! This whole story flows exeptionally well. So well, in fact, I was finished before I knew it! It could have ended where it did and I would have been happy with that, but I know there's another book out there so that makes things even better.

There's no cheesy to this book either. There's real. I felt like I was eaves dropping on Lucy and Sera's conversation at times. Real problems with real conversations. A bunch of friends figuring their stuff out and moving on. Realizing what's important and what's not. Bonds are formed and loyalties are tested.

The characters are awesome. From Lucy and Sera's don't-hold-back relationship to the less heard from and often quiet Ethan. These characters are very well developed and each written in to the story where they need to be. They have their role and it plays out very nicely.

The whole flow of this book was awesome and I can't wait to read the next one. This is my first book by Anne Mercier, and she did not let me down.

This was a good book! I totally enjoyed every page, from page 1 to the very last! It is about Jesse and Lucy. They meet for the very first time when Lucy is a teenager and then reconnect when she is in her early 20's. It's a good story, good enough for me to buy the next book, Blush, immediately after I finished Falling Down. Read it if you like rockstar romances, you will like it!

I really liked this book. The chemistry between Lucy and Jesse is HOT!!! They have ALOT of sex!!!!! I love how Lucy takes care if her sister and everyone around her. I love all the additional characters but I have to admit that sometimes all the names get confusing!!! I loved how she had a big crush on Jesse, meets him as a teenager then 6 years later she is in a rock video with him. That's when the fireworks go off!!!! I want to know who sera will end up with. I really like zander`s character. Things move really fast and there is not ALOT of describing what everyone looks like. I like that Lucy has morals and everyone gas her back even if they have to go against Jesse!!! I thought it was weird how they just up and made her a famous actress that won awards. It was just hard to believe because she goes from a teenager to this awesome actress that gets noticed everywhere. There was no in between to make us believe she was an actress. And the way she would just tell orders to everyone to set something and has houses and staff. It was just weird! However, I did get sucked into their love affair. At times it was cheesy but I guess I was in the mood for it. Can't wait to see what happens next!

Lovely romantic fairytale about 2 rock bands. It was sweet, no angst, not your typical rocker story and of course a very happy ending. If not for the sexy times it would have been more suited in the YA genre. I enjoy darker romance, rough and raw, however I will read Blush, the second book, then decide if I will continue with the series.

*****This review may contain spoilers.***** UPDATE: YIPPEE!!!....Part of my original review centered on questions left unanswered...however, I just read that the next book will be about Lucy and Jesse again so maybe some of my questions will be answered in the next book due out around 12/11/14!!!! I loved this couple and look forward to more about them and the rest of the characters too, especially Sera/Cage/Ben. Lots of laugh-out-loud humor which I love. The whole "skinny Elvis thing" was hysterical. So, I have upped this one to 5 Stars because the characters are so well-written and the story just draws you in.

This was a great story with memorable characters and I look forward to more from this author. There were parts that made me laugh like crazy. I really loved this book but I wanted some in-depth explanations for things that were touched on and never really fleshed out. I feel the answers to these questions would have made for a richer understanding of their journey toward hea. Since this seems to be a standalone book, it's doubtful these topics will be addressed in another book in the series centered on two new characters. So, I only gave it 4 instead of 5 stars for the following reasons:

Lucy met Jesse in an airport coffee shop when she was a teenager on her way to Hollywood for a movie audition. She has had a huge fangirl/crush on him since grade school. Six years go by and Jesse and his band have gone on to mega rock star success while Lucy has become an accomplished Oscar-winning actress.

Both Lucy and Jesse had an immediate connection at that first meeting and we do get to hear about it from Lucy's viewpoint which is not surprising because we usually do get to hear about meetings like that from the chick's point of view. However, supposedly Jesse actually remembers her too even though he was a rising rock star then...yet we never really hear why and what stood out about her from his pov; knowing that he remembered her, I would have elaborated a little on how he reacted when she went on to become a big movie star...did he ever think about her over the years??? the song he sang to her in the Jacuzzi called "Forever Blue" sounded like he could have written it about their first meeting and that would have added to the backstory but no other mention is made about who wrote that song or why. There were a few other details like that that would have made the story so much richer and that's exactly the kind of detail that I look for in a story. t makes me nuts when tidbits like that are thrown out there and then nothing further is explained about them because, for me that richer detail is what makes the difference between a "good story" and a "great story."

The story line was good & the sex scenes were steamy. The characters were likeable enough but if I had a nickel for every F-bomb dropped I be richer then Bill Gates. It distracted from the story and became gratuitous.

I usually dont enjoy many Rock Star books... I find them sleeping with HUNDREDS of groupies gross but Jesse was to HOT to turn away from!! Long but worth it when it's a fated love! I love the dynamic of the band's too

I choose four star rating because the author kept a studied flow. There where some confusion about how old he was and she was at the beginning. I think I figured it out. Lucy one of the main characters and Jesse have a steamy relationship from the beginning. They both knew it was a soul mate connection from the start but neither wanted to admit it. Once they got it watch out. Story line flows well. Had hard time putting it down. I couldn't wait to start the second book Blush. I recommended this to my read friends. Go read it. Keep open mind. I loved this book! The characters, main and secondary, were great! The sex scenes were hot. The banter between all the characters had me laughing out loud. I would have given it five stars except some of the conversations between Lucy and Jesse were a little overkill for my liking. I still loved it and can't wait to read Blush!!!

Sweet n sassy meets sexy n soul touching! Great work on all of the characters but super fabulous build up of the hero and his girl. Their magnetic connection just pulls you in so much you don't want to stop reading until you get to the happily ever after. Even then you wish it wouldn't end! Read the book. I'm off to read the next one - Blush.

Once I started reading this happy surprise of a book, I couldn't put it down! I needed something new that didn't have the extra drama and angst that so many books seem to have today. I'm not saying I don't like those kinds of stories....just that it was nice to have a read that was not full of that. I enjoyed the flow of the book and especially loved this cast of characters!!! Of course, I couldn't get enough of Lucy and Jesse. Lets just say there is soo much more to this sexy Rockstar than meets the eye!!! ;)

I think Lucy's crush was definitely reciprocated by Jesse in a way that even surprised her. His bandmates, especially his brother Ben, always seemed to be a step ahead in noticing the love blooming between Jesse and Lucy and were more than happy to make sure Jesse didn't let her go when he did screw up a little. As I was reading this book, I realized that I could live in this series for a really long time!! ;) So much happens in this story that there is no way I can tell you without ruining the experience of reading it for yourself. So just go forth and fall in love with Jesse, Lucy, Sera, Cage, Ben, Xander, Ethan, Kennedy, Meggie, Jace and Trace. You won't regret it!! :)

Rock on BFD tour!!!

I really enjoyed this book. I enjoyed the characters, although I wish we got to know Jesse and the other band members more. I also wish there was a little more turmoil. I love and hate when I want to throw my kindle across the room. Amazingly smoking hot and well written sex scenes. I'll definitely read the next installment, Blush!

This book was so entertaining. I applauded Anne Mercier for a very well written book. It is very rare when you feel like you are right there experiencing everyones feelings, sadness, fears and laughing right along with them. Can't wait to read on to the next book

These 1 star ratings are killing me. Did they actually read the same book I did. I mean this is fantasy so what happen in this world doesn't actually happen in the real world. I found Lucy endearing and I found Jesse who may of been a playboy before to be an actual sweetheart. If you don't want cusswords or explicit sex find yourself a Christian Romance book because this book and the entire series is not for you.

I couldn’t put this book down. The relationship between Lucy and Jesse is what made this book. I laughed constantly at how crazy their relationship is. I can’t wait to continue reading this series.

Lucy is the ultimate fangirl and this is the story of how she lives every fangirls dream.

Lucy is very likable and sassy. Jesse and the men of Falling down are delicious! I enjoyed the this book immensely. The side characters are colorful and sexy. Lucy is more than just a fangirl (woman), she has dreams of her own. I love a strong female character and I can't help but love her an neither will you. This book is for fans of music, love and dreamers.

Anne Mercier and Falling Down were such a surprisingly great find for me. I am glad I took a chance on a new author and can't wait to see where she takes this series. I am fangirl of the series and of Anne's for sure.
