Hardcover - Growing in Faith - Bible for Teen Girls

I am a disabled (developmental delayed with learning disabilities) 24 year old woman (yes, I know, it says for teen girls but I've read the reviews and seen the pictures!) It's easy to follow, contains the old and new testaments, covers many topics, and MUCH MUCH MORE !! :D

Love it, came within the estimated shipping time. It's worth the money, definitely.

This bible really helps you to understand Gods word. I've spent years trying to find the right one and the New International version is the best translation to get if your a teen like me. I highly recommend this bible.

I bought this for my daughter who is currently going through confirmation class at church. She opened the package and immediately squealed that she loved it! She spent a ton of time looking through it and loves the little side stories and extra content in this bible. She also loves how pretty it is without being overly "girly". It has a nice design on the cover and the pages have nice little decorations and pink headings. This is a very eye-catching bible! She feels like she has truly graduated from her "kids' bible" now. This is a bible that she will be proud to carry throughout her teenage years and hopefully it will help carry her too!

The 411:

Interesting afternoon. Early Dismissal meant my kids had a nice laid back afternoon rather than the same old homework routine. They did their homework and then while my daughter was re-writing something I decided to start reviewing a book out loud. "The NIV Bible For Teen Girls". I was going to stop 10 minutes in and start writing after skimming and reading some passages but I could tell my daughter was listening. She even asked a few questions. I went to start lunch for my son and she asked me not to stop. Just finished Genesis. If that doesn't make for a good review on this book I don't know what will. Interesting is an understatement.

I love the book. Anything that gets my daughter interested in the bible and makes her ask questions is a total win in my book.

Character profiles of woman in the bible and the Growing in Faith, Hope and Love are by far my favorite sections. They are done in pink and apply what the bible is saying to something we can understand and apply to today. LOVE IT!

Beautiful gift for someone.

In today's world, teen girls need reassurance that no issue is too big for God. Having raised two girls, it's not always easy for them, and having a Bible that they can open up and offer them the reassurance they need is priceless. The NIV Bible for Teen Girls is designed specifically for girls ages 13 to 18 and will help guide them through those difficult times.

All in all we really liked this Bible. It's very modern and up to date. It has a beautiful cover as you can see and daily readings by well-known christian speakers and authors. My favorite part of this Bible is the Women of the Bible Character Studies. I also think it's great that this Bible highlights the promises of God throughout the scriptures, as you can see in the above picture. If my daughter didn't need a new Bible, I would have loved to keep it for myself.
