This book was horrible I thought it would be more like the Twlight series only from Edwards view. I read Twilight series back to back which I loved but this book was warped. I read whole thing hoping it would get better but it didn't.

if YOU LOVE TWILIGHT, DO NOT READ THIS BOOK. IT IS TOTALLY STUPID! I DO NOT THINK THAT STEPHANIE MEYERS MEANT
HER ROUGH DRAFT TO COME OUT THIS WAY. I LIKE THE BOOK, BECAUSE IT IS FUNNY, BUT IT TAKES AWAY FROM THE ROMANCE OF THE TWILIGHT STORY. BELLDUH IS THE GIRLS NAME...

I was so disappointed with this book and with the other reviews posted (the ones that said it was a good book). Not only is the book poorly written but the characters are uncouth and shallow. To say that this book is related to the Twilight series is an injustice to Stephanie Meyer's writing.

I purchased the book thinking it was a parody. In my mind it means that it's a comedy. It just turned out its a dark twisted parallel world of twilight on a bad acid trip. All the characters in the story are in desperate need of therapy. There's no humor in the story. I want my time back.

Very disappointed! I was so excited thinking this was the one she started, but not finished, that got put on the web. That would have been awesome. I've actually been praying she would complete that. My fault for not noticing the parady comment. This version is beneath her.

While I wish that someone could actually write the true Midnight Sun book, I understand why this isn't practical. This leaves us with some interesting fan fiction in the form of parodies. I am a Twilight fan of many years and have had the opportunity to read many of these books. E. Cullen's (clever name) entry into the Twilight parody arena is a welcome breath of fresh air (for those of us that still breathe). His writing is filled with wit and inside references that only a true Twilight fan (or hater) would catch. Not sure what all the negativity is about but, then again, fans of this sort tend to be a passionate bunch. I enjoyed it immensely.

This was an interesting read. I have not read any of the Twilight books so, I guess my perspective is different on this book. I read the book as if it were a comedy...slapstick. In which in my opinion all parodies are. The names and the plot were funny to me. If your into parodies /slapstick comedy this is a book for you.
