I really enjoyed this book. Twists, subtle suspense, enough to keep the reader captivated with out the usual melodrama. Characters are well developed, and i finished it, happy, satisfied, but immediatly looking for more!

This was alright, fairly entertaining, no typos that I recall. I had enjoyed other Rain books so I gave this a try, the first in that series. I probably won't get any others but I wouldn't tell anyone not to give it a try.

Another marvelous read from JR Rain! He has a knack of developing believable characters and plots and I'm pleased to see that has continued with this newest series, The Witches. Samantha Moon makes an appearance in this book as mentions. This book was a page turner for me. I picked it up on Wednesday and finished it last night. The ending totally surprised me as I didn't suspect that turn of events. Its hard to write much on this marvelous book without spoiling it for other readers. All I can say is if you like JR Rain's other books, this is a must have. You will not be disappointed.

I really liked the first few Samantha Moon stories. She is a great, sympathetic character, but in the latest installments, she's talking to god personally and the tone is becoming all mushy. This book, about Moon's psychic friend continues that trend in spades. She's not quite as blessed as her vampy friend, but she does get to talk with Gaia and hear all about how special she is and then we get a long Wiccan lecture. Couldn't finish it.

We first met Allison in the Vampire for Hire series by J.R. Rain, and it's great to see that she has her own spin-off here. This first book helps the reader to get better acquainted with Allison and her qwerks. I love the sense of humor that Rain always brings to his books, as well as the spiritualism that can be inherent in them. Definitely a must read!

Interesting premise but there was not enough book to flesh out the settings. On the other hand the main protagonist was well developed and likeable. I am looking forward to reading the next in this series.
