I really enjoyed reading Lonely Souls. I usually don't read this kind of story, but i became familiar with Karice Bolton's Watchers Trilogy when i downloaded the first book of that series for free. I loved the first book so much I finished the series. I then looked for other books that she has written and came across Witch Avenue Series and of course have downloaded the rest in the series. She is an amazing writer and I love her books!

Triss is on a roller coaster of emotions between losing her beloved mother and refusing to believe she is dead, then the arrival of her childhood best friend who soon becomes a love interest that swears never to go back to the dark side and never to leave her. Together they set off on an adventure to find her mother. Plenty of excitement and action follow them as they struggle with their feelings for each other. A great read!

I must say I was pleasantly pleased with this book. I downloaded it for free and prayed it would be better than the series by the author on angels that I had bought and it was much much better! I am now moving on to the second book and pray that it captivates just as this one did - for I truly could not put this book down! What a great escape!

Another slam dunk for Karice in my opinion! This book was great! I love the Watchers Trilogy and couldn't wait for this book in her new series! I was not disappointed! I love the main characters, and can't wait to see what happens for them in the next book.

The lead character in this story ,Triss, becomes more and more annoying as the book goes on. It gets very old how she constantly gets a guilt complex thinking she is responsible for actions that are really beyond her control.

Basically, a disappointment. Another one of those books that is so weak, they have to end the story in mid stride to entice you to get the rest of the series. This wasn't good enough to do so. I'm more than happy to end the story right there. IF, book 2 is offered as a FREEBIE deal, then I'll probably continue the series. But otherwise, never mind.

I can easily tell the author has either studied deep into Wicca or is herself a pagan. The details of the items she uses in this book are big tell tell signs of such. But beside that the story is fresh and interesting, and the romance between the two main characters is very well paced, unlike some books i have read. You can feel the love between the two. I greatly await to read the others, hoping to dive in more to this fascinating world the author Karice Bolton has created.

The story is different which compelled me to keep reading. White magic vs black magic and the ramifications on the practitioner; the moral dilemma. But it is directed more to a young adult maturity and therefore became frequently implausible and annoying.

I really liked the characters in this book. As Logan and Triss work together to find her mom their love blossoms. It's romantic and made me feel like a kid on highschool again. There were some dry spots but mostly there was a lot of action. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a thrilling mystical plot.

This novel held my attention a little bit because I was curious to see if Triss finds her mother and the plot was good. But the cheesy inner dialogue and narration was enough to turn me off to continuing the series.

Lonely Souls began dramatically and emotionally with the search of Triss's mother, but then the book lost my interest. Part 2 was very boring and repetitious; I am not planning on reading the next book.

This YA novel is a wonderful read. I enjoyed the fast pace of the book as well as the detail to some aspects that was applied, like the meaning of some of the flowers. I will recommend this book for YA readers into the fantasy genre!

Interesting story however I really wish the author could find another word to use instead of "holler." Everyone is always "hollering" something. Not yell, cry, exclaim loudly, shout, scream, said emphatically, etc. It really got old to see the use of the word on just about every page. Story-wise, I liked it. It's something a bit different than the current paranormal romance.

I really enjoyed this book. The ending leaves you wanting more, so I will be getting and reading the next in the series. I would recommend this book to those who like supernatural books and/or romances.

I believe it's written for a younger audience. teen romance with the "bad boy gone good for the in need of saving girl" is a little over done these days. and in my opinion not one of the better version s.
