At first I was reluctant to read this book, since I usually don't like books where there is a lot of suspense, and where there is killing, but since it was by Nora Roberts, I decided to give it a chance. I LOVED it. The way she wrote it made you fall in love with the characters. It is impossible to put down once you start, and truly keeps you on the edge of your seat. One of her best books.

This book had all the right characters and a quirky suspenseful storyline. I loved the flawed hero and the various predicaments the couple ran into. It was a fast paced and hard to put down novel and very enjoyable; well worth the read.

This was a great story. Fast passed with danger and near misses. Whitney was classy, but no princess, soft but not weak. Doug was rough and ready with his fearless attitude, going for what he wanted no matter what. Their attraction went beyond physical the moment they met.

Different plot for Nora Robert's Although a lot of similarity with her other books (strong, rich woman falls for mere mortal man). However, plot is intense, treasure hunt from one continent to next. Lot of action.

I bought this because I generally love Nora Roberts, but I didn't even finish this one.
Maddie is just annoying and I couldn't make myself root for the hero. Their romance is more than a stereotype, it's lame. Avoid it at all cost.

Hot Ice-an adventurous, romantic, comedy that had me staying up all night to read. Nora Roberts wrote great romantic scenes like her other book Sancturary. Hot Ice made me laugh out loud many times because of the many sarcastic remarks. Hot Ice is definetly a page-turner that made me want to order more of her books!

Whitney MacAllister, a wealthy heiress, and Douglass Lord, a thief and adventurer, become partners in a treasure hunt and a race against time and a dangerous, ruthless psychotic. From New York to Madagascar, they outwit ruthless thugs and search for a historical treasure. Nora Roberts does it again and draws you into the hunt and entangled you with the characters. Excellent!
