The Betrayed (Krewe of Hunters)

I have read Heather Graham books for a long time. I have read all the Krewe books and preorder as soon as it pops up on the store.

This book wasn't bad but not the best in the series. My biggest problem with the book was Mo took her dog into establishments saying it was ok because he was wearing his service vest. He isn't performing a service for her and so the dog isn't allowed into retardants under the ADA. It seemed an easy out for the writer which got the dog into restaurants. Either Mo didn't know the law or she was abusing the service dog vest.

The legend of the headless horseman seems to be coming true with the discovery of a human head perched on one of the headless horseman figures scattered about town. The Revolutionary War and the Civil War collide in Sleepy Hollow.

A wonderful read,especially this time of year in the area made famous by Washington Irving and he tales. As always, Heather Graham tells a wonder spooky story with romance and history interwoven.

I follow all of Heather Graham's "Hexed Series". They are paranormal & mysteries. Each book introduces a new character to join with an old crew member.. The "crew " is an unauthorized FBI for activities & murders that can't be explained. You really need to read at least the first book to see how the "crew" came into existence. I have read them all. I am a sucker for "series" books.

I love Heather Graham! She is extremely good at spinning a story. This one has a rescue dog and his handler, who also sees and can talk to ghosts. An F B I agent newly assigned to the krewe of Hunters, a special unit that deals with unique cases. Lots of characters involved with the Sleepy Hollow headless horseman legend. Great fun story.
