Jane Austen Complete Collection (All Novels and Minor Works

I have enjoyed the visual depictions of her stories. Now I have the books at my finger tips. I like the electronic ease of the delivery of the reading material. And the itouch is so light to carry with me.

Reading Jane Austen again after many years, takes me back to a different and slower time in our evolution,with the ability of Jane to chronicle her epoch and "take the piss" out of the upper class.

Her writing is spare, and to the point both in directness and well written prose

Her books are not about period costuming , her probing and razor sharp comments exposing the phony class

Which for a white Kiwi Male living in a "classless" society to recognise is a feat indeed

I have always enjoyed Austen's works. It began with a love affair with 'Pride and Prejudice' and kept getting better the more I read her books. Kindle sure saved a lot of copies over my 'hard copy' oes

I've seen Emma Thompson's Sense & Sensibility and realize how faithfully she kept to the original. They complement one another well and cast is easy to picture as I read. So far I've just read Sense & Sensibility of the collection of Jane Austen

It's wonderful having all those books on my kindle. I've read them separately (several times) but it's a treat to have them on hand to read or to refer to no matter where I go. I wonder what Jane would say.

A great collection with some of her writings not found everywhere but don't get your hopes up for anything new if you have been re-reading her work for years like me. Sigh. The good die young. The early story in here is hysterical; I can just imagine the Austen family gathered around and Jane reading it to them. Highly recommend this collection.

Absolutely love Jane Austen's stories. They are witty, complex love stories that have stood the test of time; my favorites being "PRIDE AND PREJUDICE - PERSUASION - SENSE AND SENSIBILITY and EMMA". Would recommend them to anyone.

I love having all of Jane Austen readily accessible on my Kindle so I can read any of it at any time. My only problem was the difficulty I had navigating among the various works. That was frustrating.
