Letter-Picture Recognition - Word-Picture Recogni

I use these every morning while waiting for the school to open the doors to the kids. We site in the car and go through these in a series of different exercises each morning for about 10 minutes. HUGE IMPROVEMENT!

I purchased 2 different types of flash cards. One is the alphabet w/related pics starting with that letter & the other is pictures you count 2 get the numerical answer. In addition a wooden number puzzle & magnetic board w/numbers & letters. All in an effort 2 stimulate brain activity from dad recovery from a massive stroke. We use them most on the days the physical therapy team are not here as his homework ;)

The cards are bright and entertaining, and held my toddler's interest. The reason I give them only 3 stars is because the words on the back corresponding with the letters are needlessly complicated for the under 4 crowd. Some examples include "Z" is for zipper, "T" is for "toucan," and "O" for "ostrich." There are so many bird references I wondered if the cards were written by an ornithologist. Otherwise, the cards are fine, and what I was looking for.
