This was such an awesome addition to the series, the first book was so great i was a little skeptical about this one but wow... kjell and sashas love story was filled with adventure angst and heartbreaking momets... i loved it

I LOVED this first book in this series, and thoroughly enjoyed this one as well just not quite as much as book 1. This still made for a fast paced adventure with solid characters. I love this authors writing style and will gladly devour anything she publishes.

THAT EPILOGUE WAS PERFECTION! ?????????

I hate to admit that I didn't love this book. I was bored at times. I wish it wasn't written in 3rd person but it had a few good scenes. The last 20% really held my interest.

Wow! Another wonderful and beautiful story. This one like The Bird and the Sword took me on another ride of emotions right up until the end. I loved this book. I definitely recommend this book, this author, and this series.

Melodic. That is the best way to describe the prose. Fantasy is never at the top of my reading list but I love this story and the world Amy Harmon created. The characters are ruthlessly true to themselves and the story is true to them.

this enchanting tale. Incredible, heart filled writing and storytelling on every page. This author has an admirable gift and has shown that with each and every one of her books no matter the genre. I'm eagerly awaiting the next story.

One of my favorite authors. As with all her books, the writing is beautiful and the characters rich and engaging. Once I start one of her books I can't put it down until I have finished and this one is no exception.

What a beautifully written book. I found myself taking notes as I was reading because her language was so beautiful. The story was compelling from start to finish, just like all of her books. If you are a lover of fantasy, romance, action, suspense, then look no further than this book!

Amy Harmon is an amazing unique storyteller and I’m so grateful and honored to be able to read her words. The Queen and the Cure was absolute perfection! Amy’s world of Jeru and the people I met along the way are intriguing, heartwarming, wonderful people, who fill your soul with sunshine. I want to go to Jeru and hang out with each and every one of them.

In this novel, Kjell goes on an adventure over land and sea and discovers a few things about himself that he never knew. It was wonderful to watch his story and character grow and bloom. Kjell meets Sasha along the way and her story has a few twists and turns as well. These two characters pulled me in and took me on a journey I will never forget. There were moments of laughter, moments of sorrow and most of all moments of love. I am so looking forward to more adventures from the land of Jeru.

Kjell does a little “singing” along the way and this is one of my favorite songs: “Heave ho, back we go, the ale is coming to ya. Heave ho, back it goes, ale is flowing through ya.”

I have been counting down the days for the return to Jeru and I was not disappointed. When first reading The Bird and the Sword, I was a little apprehensive. However, Amy Harmon has not disappointed me yet and I continue to count the days till her next novel. Continue on into Jeru, Amy and keep me not this wondrous world of the Gifted (and any other novel you write). Thank you for your words Amy Harmon and I hope you continue writing for many years to come!

I think these two books are some of my favorites. The characters are well developed and they express such reluctant heartfelt emotions that you feel there angst and longing in each word you read. I hope to read more from Ms. Harmon soon !

Amy Harmon is truly amazing. She always delivered. When she writes its as if the reader is with the characters, in the scene, witnessing everything. She never failed to leave me in awe after i read her novels. More than Very Good. Perfect even!!
