I'm harsh with my reviews. But this utterly captivating tale earns the full five marks from me. A passion that sizzles, and characters that feel real in their fantastical world. Like she did in Radiance, Miss Draven builds a relationship with a rare skill to entice and ensnare.

Excellent book. Characters well developed. I especially liked the main female character. She was not described as beautiful, but very smart and had a lot of fortitude. Loved that! I have read all of Grace Draven and love the way she develops the women, strong, smart and not especially pretty. I also admire how committed the women are to the men, how they see the good in them. HIghly recommend the book and I am sorry I have finished it.

I really liked this book. It was very creative and the plot was extremely unique. A counterparts I would've liked to have seen plotted out differently but I can't go too far into that without spoiling the book for others.

Overall the book is very enthralling, it's almost a type of beauty and the beast retelling but only symbolically. If you are looking for a romantic thriller type book then this is the book for you.

I read this without knowing in what I was getting into, and I simply loved it.
I hate when the woman sees the man and instantly falls in love, like a curse or virus or something ZAM they are maddly in love, without taking into consideration the personality of the other person, or likes and dislikes.
In this book the love takes time, they both distrust each other, and dislike each other. It's amazing to read how their feelings evolve, how trust grows and then comes love.

Magic, enslavement, sacrifice, deep love - this dark and emotional story will make stay upon at night until the last page. Unforgettable story of redemption, hate and love shrouded in magic and mystery.

This pulled me in from the very start. The characters were well written, and their relationship slowly built through the book. It was dark in places but also had humor which I like in books. I loved the well written descriptions of the orchard and house. After reading Master of Crows, I bought the authors next book "Entreat Me" and loved it too. I look forward to whatever Grace Draven writes next!

Characters are written well. Their complexity is refreshing. And they don't fall in love in a week. I never felt like the author was rushing me or dragging me along. I have recommended this author to my friends.

This book was amazing. First off, refreshingly different. The characters were so well developed with many layers to their personalities, and with the story so brilliantly written you understood those layers as they were revealed. I am so glad that my eye was caught with the beautiful cover art and title of this book to buy it. Even though I am a voracious reader I had never heard of Grace Draven. She will definitely be in my top author list from now on. Thank you for Silhara - just wow!!!

Lovely book! Well crafted story, keeping your interest from beginning to end. I found it hard to put it down. I have all the books in the series, I would love to read more about the characters Silhara and Martise.

I enjoyed this story a great deal. I enjoyed the intelligence of the heroine, and I enjoyed the pacing of the story. There were no quick fixes despite the abundance of magic threaded throughout the storyline. I loved that things took time to achieve, and that consequences were a part of the process. Smart characterizations, smart pacing, and a sound plot. I highly recommend this read.

I am always looking for another good fantasy writer. Master of Crows is well written, has interesting characters, and a don't-want-to-put-it down story. I look forward to more of this world and the Master of Crows.

I really enjoyed this story. Yes, it's a "romantic" fantasy, but less bodice-ripper and more of a good sword-and-sorcery story with some steamy scenes. I hope we are able to continue get stories about Martise and Silhara in the future--I've already enjoyed the related short stories. Draven has already set the scene for some more world and story building.

Others have outlined the plot and characters, so I'll just say everything about this book worked for me. I'm in love with Silhara and Martise is one of those quietly strong heroines one can't help but admire. If you like Ilona Andrews and Patricia Briggs, you should try this author. Check out her other novel, Entreat Me, and her website for her serial Radiance.

Highly recommended.

Absolutely love this book. I've read it multiple times and will continue to do so. Grace Draven's characters are flawed yet beautiful, I love them all. I've read all her other books which are wonderful too. I'm so excited for whatever she has in store for us next. There are some very explicit sexual scenes, which I enjoyed very much because she doesn't hold back, she's right on and describes things so well. A must read for someone searching for legendary characters and exceptional erotic fantasy.

The Master of Crows, Silhara of Neith is an outstanding character! Martise of Asher is a bit of drab at first, but she comes along nicley. You would never imagine these two as a pair. Will definitely going to read the next in the series.

I finished this book last night. I. Love the world Ms Draven has created, harsh and somewhat other worldly but definitely believable. I enjoy a story when the hero and heroine are not perfect and I like when the romance takes time to build. I have a soft spot for crows, so the title caught my eye. It was the story that hooked me and kept me reading until late I the night.

I am always looking for something different that will hold my interest. This is a fantasy book with magic. I loved the characters. I cared about them and the decisions they made. I've read that there are three novellas with these characters. I am hunting them down for sure.

This was a magical tale of love and sacrifice between Silhara and Martise. I was immediately entranced in the world of mages and a pretty God. The side characters were great as well. I highly recommend this book.

This book definitely kept me on my toes. The magic and characters were very original and raw. I was kinda back and forth with how i felt about Silhara, but I feel like that's how the author intended for you to feel. Very different, a bit dark and gritty, but really original and cool.

Nice change of pace, great story line. I was completely immersed in the story ! When the written word becomes live action in your head as you read the story, well then that is a very satisfying read !
this story carried me away and I didn't want to come back ! Thanks for the trip !

Awesome tale, wonderful story telling, characters you believe in and enough action to pique ones interest without turning into an epic tale about a bunch of people traveling around accomplishing nothing never moving forward I.e. The last 2 George RR Martin novels.

I loved this book! All of the characters spoke to me. The female lead had a quiet strength that was intriguing not only to the reader but most importantly to her mage master. I loved how he recognized the beauty within her soul and ended up loving her fiercely for it. I recommend this book to anyone who is a fan of medieval romance with a little bit of paranormal thrown in.

Another great book by mrs. Draven. Can't wait for the next book in this series. I love that each of her series is its own world; but her writing style, her strong characters and own special details make reading each one seamless and enjoyable.

Another awesome book. Mast of Crows is my third Grace Draven book and she does not disappoint. She brings the world to life and the characters have depth to them. Even though I did not like the Master of Crows at first, he starts to grow on you quickly.

A fast paced fantasy, well written and imaginative. A great hearted, handsome, powerful sorcerer, a shy, brilliant, passionate and enslaved woman and orange blossoms. What's not to love? Highly recommended to anyone who loves a good story.

I really enjoyed this fairy tale for adults. The main characters are not perfect but their relationship as it develops in the story is beautiful. Also, the world building was pretty good. All around really good read.

This was so compelling I could barely put it down! Dangerous! I had to force myself to stop reading. The story and character development are so deftly wrought that you can't help but be drawn into this world.
