I have been struggling for the last couple of months to find books that start great and finish great. I have brought so many lately that have fizzled half way though I can say this was definely not the case with this book. The characters were great and Nathan is wow but I do like Alec. Cant wait to see the outcome between those three but hope it is Nathan as I am team Nathan. I hope that Alec can have some one as well though.

I can wait to for the next book to come out. My only hope is that Desni does not turn Kris evil as this would not be an enjoyable read (unless of course it was only a chapter of so). There are too many authors out there who try and make a book more interesting by making main characters evil or dying and I personally and am sure there are a lot of others out there who do not believe this needs to be done, there are lot other option apart from this.

There are a lot god/demigod books written but I can definely say there is not one out there like this so congratulations Desni and please write fast as I need to know what happens next (without Kris turning evil LOL).

I would recommend this book to all age groups from teens to mature.

This book was.. Not entirely awful, but there certainly weren't too many redeeming qualities. The premise was interesting. The descendants of demigods are destined to fight against each other- but one side is "evil" and the other "good". It's to simplistic, and this is representative of the book as a whole. The characters were flat, and the main character, a girl who is nearly 18, is too weak to do anything for herself, and ends up relying on the two men in her life, who, surprise, both seem to like her. Cue cliche and not particularly interesting love triangle.

Basically, this novel has all the trademarks of a great fantasy novel- romance, adventure, evil, fight scenes, but they're poorly done in a not interesting way. Read this if you're a pre-teen in search of some really fluffy writing, otherwise, don't waste your time.

This book was interesting. A little boring at times, but overall pretty interesting. The protagonist was strong and took it very well when she found out what she is. Overall I would read it of you want to take a break.

The mixture of Greek mythology and demigod in a young adult setting is always nice. Not sure how I feel about the love triangle though. But for a young woman to go through all this and not be whiny or spoiled about it is refreshing. Looking forward to the next book

This book leaves you wanting more. Girl meets boy- girl meets other boy, a definite teenage conundrum. Like a great muffin recipe, there is just enough sugar and berries added to the mix to have you craving the finished product.

This is an exciting story about the descendants of demi-gods or hybrids of mythical Greek gods. It tells an intriguing tale of the good who come from the line of Zeus and Poseidon who battled the bad line of Hades in an on going war. The young characters are likable, there is romance, the battle scenes are intense , the chase scenes are breath taking and there is an ironic twist. I could not put it down and I can not wait for the next one.

This story is great fun. Full of adventure and super hot guys! YEAH! The heroine is pretty bad a-- too. I absolutely love the authors sense of humor. When I wasn't biting my nails in anticipation I was laughing hysterically. I can't wait for #2

I read this awhile ago so I cannot remember every little detail but I do recall it was a lovely book. I enjoyed the story the editing was good and the writing structure was very nice. Overall, I felt this was a well done from many perspectives and I am very hard to please. I am honest about what I like and do not like. I care that things are done well and this pleased me greatly. I do look forward to the next books in this series.

I really liked this book, even though it was written for a younger audience. I liked the characters and was torn between Alec and Nathan just as Kris was. The only draw backs I found were the age difference between Kris and Nathan. Well written, good story, kept my interest.

I was pleasantly surprised by this story. I expected it to be one of those where a girl finds out she’s special and is then sent to a school/training facility to learn her powers but this was not the case. It was intriguing, suspenseful and interesting. I did have a problem with the age difference even though the author tried to rationalize it. Kris was still 3 years old when Nathan was a grown man already never mind how slow he ages. There were some interesting twists in the story and I’m excited to read the sequel.

I absolutely loved Ignited and couldn't put it down! I love that it has such a perfect balance between action, drama, romance, and comedy. I love the characters so much! (Especially Kris, Nathan, and Alex) The plot is so addicting and the chapters themselves have so many awesome quotes. I love the relationships and themes. Ignited has become a favorite of mine and hooked me into reading the sequel (Sacrificed, which I also absolutely loved and couldn't put down) as soon as I finished it. I strongly recommend this series and cannot wait until more books in the series come out!

This is that book where the creepy immortal guy is picking up the teenager. The guy that has been apparently watching over her for her whole life and now being stuck together in the woods to hide from the bad guys means he just can't contain himself.... I did not finish this book because immortals that have lives a good long while should not be that into teenagers... If they were a mortal we'd lock them up....

Ignited pretty much has it all and kept me interested throughout the entire story. I loved that the author actually took time to build the relationships between characters instead of the ever-so annoyingly cop-out of "love at first sight" BS that seems to be very popular, and very lazy, in my opinion. I can't say what I loved the most bc it flowed so very well and twisted in a way I didn't see coming. I can't wait to read the next one right away and very strongly recommend this book!!!

This was a pretty good book. The progression for a first book was decent. The author didn't linger too much on any one thing. My only real issue is that the book doesn't have a proper ending. There is no climactic end. It feels like the end of a chapter. The author does build up Kris enough where by the end you expect something to happen. Something that leads into the build up for the next book. Where we see Kris grow as a character.

I really struggled with what to say about this book. It seemed very interesting but in the end it was the love triangle that truly killed it for me and I just cannot stomach that tired old story line.

The other issue is that the details are so strung out that it kind of kills the reading experience. I realize that the point may have been to build suspense but many of the details could have been disseminated much earlier without the story suffering.

I liked everything about this story, and I'm impressed that this excellent author is so young. More than that, this writer doesn't need to mature like other first timers, because she's already got writing "chops". The book was well balanced as far as necessary plot, action, characters, etc. Above all, it wasn't predictable, and although many paranormal books have things in common, this was a new look for readers into a different "race" of people. Well done, and refreshing. I'm looking forward to the sequel. -Ozmatoo

The writing is good and there weren't any glaring grammatical errors but it wasn't a storyline I enjoyed. There was the typical I don't know what I am heroine and of course the predictable love triangle. It just never really caught my interest. I did finish it but won't be continuing with the series.

Like a car accident, truly. I kept reading hoping the promised mythology would thicken and that the whining would stop but the subject of it only changed. Now we have a horrid love triangle and a weak story. Ugh!!

Can't wait to read the next book.
Good and evil sides of Two sexy Men protecting

Won't tell you anymore than that.
Not a short story!
Which I really enjoy.
