This is a beginning to an amazing series. I loved it. It kept me on the edge of my seat. I literally finished this book in less than a day bc I could not put it down. It had me absolutely hooked from the beginning to the very end. I've already bought book two to start reading. Nikki is an amazing and strong female heroin. She had her clumsy moments and I could relate to her. I felt like I was watching a movie the entire time I was reading. This author really knows how to write. There was action, romance, humor, and horror. The guys like Adam were hot!!!! All of the characters were great and I felt like I was a party of their group and was with them through everything. THIS IS A MUST READ for werewolf shifter lovers.

I absolutely adored this book! What a great paranormal read. This is a Y/A book but even as a 40 plus woman, I loved it. I loved the magic, the mystery, the storyline, the characters, etc.

This was a well written story with great descriptions to detail. The magical element was actually very believable and drew me in. I was able to figure out rather quickly what was going to happen but that didn't take away from the story, it just made me want to read it faster to verify that I was correct, and I was.

I look forward to reading number 2. The characters were so easy to fall in love with, and their dialogue was easy to follow. All in all, a fantastic read.

Would I recommend this book? Yes!!!

Would I read more from this author? Yes!!

Hidden Moon; the Keeper Saga by K R Thompson

Hidden Moon is a Paranormal Romance. I love how the author writes a great story that introduces the characters to your. This story is suspenseful, keeps you on the edge of your seat while you try and figure out who the Serial Killer is. You are rooting for you Hero’s and hope your favorite won’t be a victim or the perpetrator.
There is a Triangle romance, wonderful history of a Native American culture.
This is such a great read, I am looking forward to the rest of the series.
I Highly recommend this book for both YA and Adult readers. Would be interesting as a movie series too.

Chewy was my favorite character even though its appeared briefly in story. I liked how the Indian characters were depicted as educators instead of a secret society. Brian was a strong character then disappeared until end. That was a little disappointing since I wanted to know of his struggles too.

Even though the cliffhanger was unnecessary it was a great book to read. Now as a vid twilight fan, I would have to say this is not that. Yes it is a school setting and yes there are Indiana. That's it. I do t want to give away the sit but I wouldn't think Twilight if the seed wasn't planted.

Adam and Brian and of course Nikki are great characters and want more to read, this one has a serial killer in it besides all the freaky stuff in the woods including chewy lol Bravo!!

Other then some typos this was a good book. Seems no one hires proof readers anymore! Makes it hard to read books these days, but it shows it was a good book, as I usually cannot get through books with typos! Would recommend!

***Won this book in a contest*** I really liked this YA Paranormal. It had a great story, interesting characters, a murder mystery, a love triangle, paranormal creatures, and some surprising twists. I had a hard time putting it down and finished it all in one day. I can’t wait for the next one.

Loved the history and mythology. The author did an awesome job of intertwining Native American beliefs into the heart of the story. Really enjoyed the characters. It was a fun and quick read. Already got book 2.

I couldn't finish this one. The third chapter when she was still referring to the local Native American tribe as "Indians" with no correction from any of the other characters was just too much. If the premise for your book is Native legend and culture, that kind of language is sloppy.

Unfortunately, this book left much to be desired. It started for me when the Tribal People were referred to continuously as Indians. I live in South Dakota with Pine Ridge Reservation two hours away and truthfully, they find it derogatory to be called Indians rather than Native Americans. So, I kinda cringed every time Indian was used. Next, the story plot was very predictable and reminded me of something written by a high school tangible of Twilight. It was that bad. It's a shame too because it probably could have been better if more time had been taken with it and more editing had been.

I enjoyed reading this book. It kept me constantly guessing what was going to happen next with all the twist and turns of dark and chilling excitement. Cant wait to get my hands on the next book. Could very well become a movie saga.

This was well written with well developed story and characters. I am hooked and intend to continue reading more of this series of stories. While this is a standalone book with its own HEA, there is a segue into the next book.

Not what I thought this novel would be about. Thoroughly enjoyable read and I can't wait for the next installment. I love the take on native American lore and the inclusion of fae kind. This book was easy to read as the dialogue and descriptive word was balanced well. It flowed easily and I didn't have to re-read things to understand them. Well written.

This was alright for a quick and easy read. However, I have no desire to continue reading the series.
The story followed a fairly predictable path and attempted to be subtle about the villian's identity.

I enjoyed the paranormal aspects of the story. For some reason, the romance didn't resonate with me. I really liked both Nikki and Adam but didn't feel the emotions I typically do with romance novels. This is most likely due to my mood and preferences. I would still recommend this book since it is very engaging.
