Once again Quinn has done a wonderful job. Bringing all the characters to life to a point that you actually feel you are there with them travelling their journey. Feeling their highs and lows, joys and heartaches. You cry with them, you love with them.
This is not the mark of a good author, this is the mark of an excellent author. She is able to remove you from the real world, you feel as if you are in Triks world, fighting the good fight with the dark king and his human queen.
I would recommend Quinns books to anyone who has a sense of the realms that could possibly await you just beyond your imagination. If you like a bit of action, love, hate and just a desire to believe in something more, Quinns books really make you think and feel its all possible, if only you open yourself up to believe.

Love the concept of the books and the emotions they evoke. However, simple grammatical errors are quite distracting to the reader. For example, the difference between your and you're. Also, the use of "conceded" instead of "conceited" ... Hire an editor!!

This amazing second installment of the elfin series had me captivated from the beginning to the end. I love the characters of this book and the way they pull the reader into the fantastic world created by the author

The third book can't get here fast enough. No clue what the title will be or the release date.

Quinn Loftis has brought yet another one of her books to life. The characters have deeply rooted personalities, which is hard to come by in teen novels. This is a must read for any fantasy lover. Way to go Quinn!

So, I was intentionally looking for some elf-related romance series when I stumbled across this series. The first book I got through okay, I liked it and wanted to continue the series. A few things irked me, but this is a review of the second book, so I’m not going to go into that right now.
Things I liked about this book:
-comedic relief is rampant
-the characters have distinct personalities that evolve throughout the book
-the “women” are not helpless and the men are not totally overbearing
Things I do not like:
-the “women” are actually teenagers
-the women are also obsessed with saving themselves for marriage which seems a little odd considering the whole “chosen” thing. Actually it seems down right insulting to tell the elves screw your whole soulmate thing, human marriage rituals are more sacred.
-there’s too much focus on their “purity” while the men are basically all dirty old sex fiends, apparently
-the storyline is absolutely biblical, with god being replaced by forest lords and all the martyrs and saints and heroes become elves. There’s even the whole deity worship “do what we say and we’ll reward you; disobey and we’ll punish you” dream convo with blinding lights and omnipotent creator stuff.
-the biblical stuff especially bothers me because the author makes a point of having the human characters say they aren’t religious or don’t really believe in god. Why do that and then turn it into a biblical epic?
If I wanted strong religious, copy and paste the Bible, type overtones...I’d read the Bible. Not an elf fantasy series. Which is why it’s important to read about the author before reading a book. If they make a point of glorifying their particular deity in their bio, they’re probably going to borrow heavily from religious doctrine in their writing. But even as I type, I know there are many authors who don’t add their religion to their books quite so obviously as this. I just wish there was some kind of disclaimer front and center on this book. It should read something like “Religion disguised as Elven Fantasy.”
All in all, I don’t think Quinn Loftis is a bad writer and I think this had a lot of potential. There were some glaring mistakes in the language, like two words that sound the same but aren’t and the author chose to use the wrong word and foul up an idiom or five, which should have been caught in editing. It just really irritated me, the whole “I’m not religious, but I’m gonna be totally religious” aspect. It felt like being lied to. So, I’m not willing to buy the last book in the series, because I’m just gonna go ahead and assume that it only gets more biblical from here. No thanks.

Quinn Loftis is amazing and she doesn't disappoint in this, the second installment of the Elfin Series.
This story picks up where Elfin left off, with Elora, Cush and the gang, who had gone to rescue Trik and Cassie, but end up getting captured and thrown in a dungeon themselves!
I especially love the relationship between Elora and Cush, he's a major alpha, and I LOVED HIM!
If you enjoyed Elfin, you will LOVE this book!!

I found my thoughts wondering while reading this book and having myself to go back and reread passages. I can honestly say this was not one of her best books. Even though it was a quick read, it just didn’t capture my attention like her other books. Don’t get me wrong this book follows the Elfin storyline, but I just wish there was more substance to it. Hopefully, the next book in this series is better.

Okay this book was amazing. Not gonna lie. For those who dont want spoilers lemmie say it like this.
This book is filled with paranormal activity romance and drama. if you dont like that then leave. But if so stay. Anyways in this book we see more of the minor characters from Elfin become major. Ex: Tarron, Oakley, Lisa, Cush, Elora, Tony. Which is nice. And oh my god the intensity between ---- and ----. Woops sorry cant say...
Anyways in this book you will find many plot twists and moments where you cant stop reading... Oh wait thats te whole book... Oh well! The reason why its only for stars though is becase it leaves off t the worst part. I mean wat the hell. I dont wanna wait for book 3!!! And she stopped somewhere in the late 80% becase of prevews for other books... which is okay but i wanted more of this Rapture...Gah time to wait....

I have enjoyed getting to know these characters. The banter is amusing and the unraveling conflicts are very intriguing. I love wondering what's going to happen next. The third installment is going to be interesting to say the least.
