Book 3 Gypsy Healers Series, Jewel of Darkness

I was really disappointed with this book. I absolutely LOVE the stories this writer does. It seems like a lot of the little details are lost in the story. Spoiler - Sally and Rachel use their mind sharing powers to find 5 healers but that little tid bit is lost when Peri is looking for a way to communicate with them in the pixie realm. I was extremely disappointed that she brought a genie is the storyline. Really?!?! Jewel is the worst. For being a genius, she sure is dumb. She chose to infect people with evil blood at a faster rate rather than producing off spring which will take a lot longer and a slower pace, allowing her time to defeat the enemy. She chose to go with Volcan to save her friends but infects one of those friends and then feels good about it "she is no longer alone in misery." Jewel also says she sacrifices herself to go with Volcan, removing the Mate bond, so she shouldn't feel guilty if she chose to end her life to truly save others. That plot twist would create a much more plausible United We Stand against the forces of evil rallying call among everyone. Again, so disappointed that I won't be purchasing anymore books.

Extremely dark days for the wolves and their healers. I feel for Peri although I think she was wrong to keep the wolves from their healers. I am a bit confused as I had read all the GWS before this series so I may have to go back and read Book 9.

Great storyline!

Another entertaining read offered by a familiar pen about familiar characters. We have grown to love these characters, their struggles, their triumphs, their silliness, their hardships and their sarcasm. Thank you for continuing this storyline. The only difficulty with this e-book was the number of typographical errors I encountered. I was surprised, if not s little disappointed. I would gladly assist in editing future work.

I want to give this a higher rating because Quinn Loftis is a great writer. The story is written very well. But I just... I don't know wanted the Gypsy Healers Series not to be so dark. Sally is so good and loving. I guess I had expected something different . I know they have to have something to fight to be a story. But the darkness drags out too long. Lets get on with it already. Also, I like to feel like the story has some conclusion in the end.
