Obviously love the book(s) by Christine Feehan...on book 15 out of 23. Although alot of the story line is the same in each book, there is always a twist that keeps you interested and entertained. Finished this book in a day...couldn't put it down.

I recommend this book only for people familiar with the Dark series. There was little background information and poor development of environment. Can definitely tell it was written for current readers. I finished it in a few hours.

Was very different from the other paperback novels in the series. Had never seen this series in an illustrated version. Would love a more detailed story version in her paperback version though. Great condition and a good starter for romance novels.

Horrible! I have read all the Dark series books up until this one and have greatly enjoyed them. This one however, wad just bad. Bad story, very disjointed, and even the graphics weren't very good. Don't bother spending any money on this. It isn't worth it.

I thoroughly enjoyed the story of Juliette Sangria and Riordan de la Cruz. While it maintains the integrity of the Carpathian series, it not only introduces you to a whole new family of Carpathians, but the story line provides a fresh departure from all its predecessors. For fans of the Dark Series, I definitely recommend it.

This is an excellent addition to an awesome series. Christine never seems to stop, her world is spun in wonderful color and catching stories. It's gripping from the start. I didn't want to put it down, couldn't wait to turn the next page and was upset when the book ended, not that it wasn't a good ending, it was just over and now I must wait for the next one.

Slight Spoilers!
The story started off really well, with Riordan being rescued by lady-love. From there, the story deteriorated fast. There are certain aspects to Feehan's books that are hard to blow-off (no pun intended!), even when the book isn't that great. The connection between the H and h is usually terrific when they rely heavily on one another and the love scenes are hot! Her books can be a little cave-manish, but said redeeming factors smooth it over. Other than the fact that Riordan was more sensitive than most Carpathian men, there was not much to speak for the quality of this book. I thought the heroine was irritating. Yes, she had a mind of her own, great.... she was way more independent than most of the women in these novels... but almost stupidly so. I just could not connect with these characters. Oh, well! The book wasn't terrible, just not what I was expecting.
